How long do you meet up with a provider before scheduling meetings at your home, rather than a hotel room?

There is only one instance a provider has been to my house and that was purely for plutonic reasons. There are just too many people (family) running in and out of my home to make alone time with a provider pleasurable. 😜

The flip side this same provider (escort) turned friend, I’ve been to his house for plutonic reasons and a few times for hiring purposes.

On a similar tangent I’ve been to other escorts turned friends homes but purely for plutonic visits. Two of which told me they don’t invite clients over to their places. It’s their sanctuary and they don’t want to cross that line there.

Now if we’re talking about masseurs. the majority of the meet ups have been at their homes.

The first few months escorting it was only outcalls because I didn't have a couch and I thought walking someone through an empty living room to the bedroom was tacky.  Soon I bought a couch (I was already an engineer, so I don't know why I didn't just buy a couch, but I was always more comfortable watching tv on a chair), and the convenience of incalls quickly overwrote any fears of having strangers in my apartment.

I get that clients might be concerned inviting strangers into their homes, luckily we forget very quickly and google maps just goes onto the next thing.   Don't worry about it.

@Rbaine2336 always a hotel.  Don't have to worry about cleaning up afterwards.  The simplicity is worth the cost if I have to get a room for the meet. Some guys are pigs.  Left over food, dirty towels, clothes, etc everywhere in their room.  They just toss it aside and think it doesn't matter since you're not there for a long time. Appreciate the ones that make an effort to tidy up.  Could be the old fart in me.  😆

I have one (1) regular provider whom I see at my home. I had one (1) provider whom I saw at my home but I won’t be asking him back anytime soon. (Sexy SOB, though.) Otherwise it’s always at a hotel. Most of the providers I see, I see on the road.
 

@nomad said it best about simplicity and the fact that you don’t have to clean up afterwards when using a hotel. (I always leave at least five bucks for housekeeping.)

For a first meeting, I always choose either an incall (preferred) or a hotel. If things go well and they become a regular, then I'm comfortable inviting them to my home.

Between nosy doormen and neighbors and with the occasional appearance of relatives who come to my city unannounced and install themselves in my spare bedroom, it's just easier never to host at my home.   I'll use hotels (dayuse is inexpensive and almost always available) or go to the escort's location, if he has one.  

I did have an escort to my place once a number of years ago.  The next day, my downstairs neighbor asked me who was the young man who came to my apartment.  My neighbor bought my explanation that he was an IT guy from my employer helping me with my remote work set-up.  The escort's being Asian played into my neighbor's stereotypes.

only one provider knows my home address (and my passport #, SS #, personal phone number, birthday, etc.)......this is after many years of meetings and after he demonstrated his honesty and trustworthiness.....

but I've never hosted him in my house, though he dropped by for coffee and chat one day on his way to a meeting with somebody else....

I always prefer a hotel for the neutrality, the cleanliness, the unlimited number of towels, the privacy, and the sleaziness......I'll get a room if they aren't hosting in one.....I don't like cleaning my own place...... 

many clients here happily host in their own place and report zero problems.....I just sorta want to separate (compartmentalize is the trendy word, I guess) this hobby from home

Well, since the start of my hiring career, I have always hosted providers at my home, whether in NYC then or in HK now. I have never had a problem in those 30+ years.

However, for non-commercial hookups, I go to hotels (DayUse is fantastic) or to their place. First, because you pay providers to leave and, more importantly, because that is the basic rule I have developed with my husband: we can fool around all we want, but we don’t bring dates to our home. Diff’rent strokes….

I'm shocked at how many guys on here never have a provider over at their home. I don't mind my place, their place, or a hotel. Never had any issues except for one time. I did have money stolen once during an overnight with a regular hookup so I always take care to keep all my valuables hidden when hosting. I never let the other guy out of my sight except for when they are using the bathroom. I don't do overnights ever for partly this reason as well. Just an hour or two.

I never host, and only once have I met with a provider at a hotel which was because I was traveling. I'm way more likely to hire hosting locals in my home city. It always involves massage,  so table, etc.

The reason I meet only at home or at my hotel when I am on a business trip, is that I like to sleep after sex. I can't bother getting the metro or a taxi to get home.

No house calls for me. It may be a bit inconvenient at times but I'd much prefer to go out. Like others have mentioned I also live hotel sex. It add an element of excitement for me. And thanks to a fellow provider I am now a fan of DayUse.
