  1. This is interesting. King Elon https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2026/05/report-spacex-ipo-gives-musk-unchecked-power-and-forbids-investor-lawsuits/
  2. A gifted masseur I repeat-hired a while back was in med school. Once he hit residency, he had offsetting FT income, and no time to do massage. Pity. He had great hands.
  3. Throughout Europe and many parts of Asia, students are exposed to all of classical music at a much higher rate than the same-aged American kids. This creates more adults who aren't scared by it. Not so, in the US. American opera companies and orchestras have always lacked government funding at the level of other G-7 nations, and through ever-expanding competition for entertainment dollars the formerly life-long fans have become occasional and older. The Met is unique in its branding (The Met!) and 60-year history in a house of its own, in a city that already brings in people of great wealth to donate and purchase season tickets. It's an operationally-heavy production machine, with a huge payroll of folks you never even see. Add the cost of musicians, chorus, ballet, and casting the stars we know from recording and streaming fame, each performance becomes an enormous money-suck for the company. Box office has still not bounced back after the pandemic. The current US gov't attitude towards the public arts funding (if they can't sell it at a profit, why should we help them make it?) ignores the greater good of exposure to enduring music. And if people want to not come, you can't stop them. Add the fact that the State Dept. is making working here harder, and less welcoming in general to non-Americans, the % of international artists who turn down offers here has grown a lot. And when they do agree, it's for a higher fee. All American opera companies are struggling to keep up. The Met will not be the next one to ring down the curtain for good. Life is short. OPERA IS LONG
  4. The Less They Know... the better.
  5. This is Emerald Fennell's (I loved Saltburn!) take on the Brontë classic - I was forced to read the book in HS English Lit - didn't like it then, didn't care for the Olivier film, and the things I've seen and read about this film have confirmed my desire to stay away.
  6. Take Prep and get vax /boosters for Flu, COVID, and MP. Safety first. Common cold: count on it. Nice surprise if you don't! There will be all body types - hot guys, avg guys, older bears, skinny students, and in all races (potentially) and ages. No one is everyone's type (except for the one hung god) so you may be turned away. Yes it's personal, but more, it's just the nature of the venue. Average guys do very well at bathhouses. Most have an overall friendly vibe. We're all playmates there to have fun, right? If your wit and charm are your biggest assets, save those for the TV Lounge. Very little, and hushed, conversation is taking place in the cruising spaces. Eye contact is key. Be open. First time, maybe get a room - you have a place to retreat and process the vibe, and enjoy provided video (no phones allowed) for motivation to resume the promenade. Bring personal toiletries and towelettes. If approached by someone you're not into, indicate it kindly. 'Thanks, maybe later'
  7. No Topic Responses: • Frozen can be used instead of fresh, but you may sacrifice some of the expected firmness. • Yes, men's do have an odor distinctly different from the ladies' and no one knows why. • Cats and dogs first. Then women and children if we must. • You can if you want, but dinner party invitations that arrive via group text mean you do not have to bring anything. • No, I don't think he has the faintest clue. • Sunblock. LOL
  8. Attire (I like to unwrap a gift slowly...) and grooming products are the only things I would ask. In accommodating my request, the provider has the ability to restore his default for the next client, merely with routine shower (or not) and clean clothes (or not)
  9. You know you're going to get a great massage when the provider really knows his best selfie angle.
  10. The extensive massage training and years of experience listed, plus the nice pictures of the professional table setup, always provide reassurance.
  11. Some guys specify what NOT to do to reach out. If you choose the phone icon, the pop up used to offer text msg - not sure current status of that. If provider has not enabled, reach out via RM. I have success with the former.
  12. If we get to mix fictional characters with existing people in this game, God and I share a birthday.
  13. His INTO list includes PnP, for those who find that a plus or a minus - there's been no mention in the thread.
  14. Greater Los Angeles in the '80's, you could almost count on seeing a precisely defined Speedo tan line once you peeled off his 401's and white Calvins. It was always a bit thrilling, the contrast between the exposed and the hidden.
  15. Humans have always had trouble accepting "as issued" If it's done for reasons of religious Tradition, it's over and healed in no time in most all cases, including the now-debunked hygiene reasons for circumcision in the hospital, which is happening less often. Is it torture for the infant? Hard to say. Is it mutilation? By dictionary definition, probably. Circumcision simply was the norm for baby boys within my boomer generation. Do I wish I had, like 99% of American boys my age, been circumcised as an infant? Sure, sometimes. I was probably the one-and-only uncut guy for many of my bf/hookups. Likely cost me some 2nd/3rd dates. I had encountered very few foreskins in my life before hiring. So, did I ever consider adult circumcision? Nope. Likewise, I think most guys who've never had that extra bit flesh (that doesn't really do much since we began wearing pants) aren't curious enough to go through the "restoration" process. As the new hoodie would be made up of fabric compositionally different from what was trimmed off at birth, I don't think the appearance, or feel of having it, would ever be the same as as the factory-installed version. Funny. You’re born with the size pre-determined in the womb, and then the parent(s) make alterations before you've even tried it on. And you're still gonna have an organ that some people wish was different.
  16. He was a gift to classical music in America. Loved the audience! He didn't exactly "die young" but he probably had a lot more things he wanted to accomplish. His partner of five decades (!) died only months ago after a terrible fall. MTT's last weeks had to have been very difficult. RIP to a fantastic musician. ❤️
  17. I've never had a "regular" but I have had repeats spread out over a span of time. I'm one to hire with planning to scratch a particular itch. Sometimes the itch can be reached by one I know - other times, only by a provider known to me solely from on-camera ...scratching.
  18. Please. I haven't even given my real name to my husband.
  19. As the only male child, I've no brother to compare to. One sister married at 23, her husband was her first and only, she's widowed at 68. My older sisters both married once, with a total body count of maybe 7-8 between them. Including my husband of 36yrs, mine's in the low 40's I think. Among all 17 cousins in my generation, I am definitely the family whore.
  20. AI is full of promise in solving real issues that can improve people's everyday lives. It is even more promising in obscuring truth, getting consumers to part with money, and creating disruption in people's faith in all systems of government, so they can be more readily privatized. Skepticism of AI is warranted, in spite of the endless entertainment value currently enjoyed on phones and tablets.
  21. No mention of which LA neighborhood he's in. I hire in-calls so distance factors heavily. I like his photo and general description.
  22. Mike White is a unique storyteller, who tends to place overall plotline credibility second to the character studies. That's why casting is so important to him. If she wasn't a fit for the project, she wasn't a fit. And, it's possible external issues were at play - maybe the shooting location simply kept her too far away from something that arose in her personal/family life. I trust the finished season will be as entertaining and provocative as the earlier ones.
  23. This sounds like a second-session question for the provider. See how the first hookup plays out regarding the provider's enjoyment of bottoming, then ask about the choreographed version of climaxes in your head - which is a perfectly normal scenario, btw, but will be easier to achieve if he knows in advance and can pace the session accordingly.
  24. The day of, or even day before the meal, roast or grill vegetables seasoned in whatever way you like. I use olive oil and S/P. They look impressive on a platter at room temperature, especially garnished with some fresh herbs, and make very usable leftovers. Oven can be saved for meat or starch dishes requiring baking close to serving. If you frequently serve crowds, offer up a big pot of homemade soup, some crusty bread and a green salad. So many ways to make great meals using only one oven. The key is planning.
