  1. I been talking about this regularly on here. I’m in the Midwest, and I just try to travel every couple weeks to stay busy. I been saying it for a long time, that RentMen and Masseur: I know they’re doing what they can, but I have urged them to do more. Bring back rates would be a start. Even if it’s named differently. The good news is, there’s still clients out there. Surprisingly, I seem to make more per booking, even though bookings are fewer. I’m also trying to go with longer sessions, versus resorting to discounting visits: as that would require taking on more volume.
  2. That sounds very familiar, kinda like…the gay scene. Ha. Who woulda thought. Go to a gay bar on any given busy night, you’ll see somebody bashing it out with their partner. I’ve seen it first hand. They probably aren’t going killer style with it but, it exists. Not that I’m diluting the events that occurred, but I don’t buy into the frenzies because it’s people dealing with that stuff all the time and nothing gets done. The whole OJ thing was bigger than race. It was a turning point. Like one poster earlier said, it paved the way for the general fascination of courtroom drama and even stuff like “forensic files”, all stuff that I googled…many of those shows first premiered in the mid 90s after the trial. Fox News True Crime Newsletter: OJ Simpson death, murder trial started fascination of courtroom drama APPLE.NEWS Stay up to date with the Fox News True Crime Newsletter, which brings you the latest cases ripped from the... 3. No, YOU are quite delusional…and I know you’re lying 🤥 because, if that was the case, why does this same topic keep coming up over and over on the forum? Reality stars, Instagram influencers and people who don’t show their face? And?They probably don’t do deposits because it’s an occasional thing for them. You name dropping celebrities…those celebrities don’t pay my bills. Could I call them up and ask for money if a $500 appointment fell thru? Hell no. And don’t try to fool me with that Instagram celebrity bullshit. I had to send a guy $$ the other week, because he said he was having financial issues. Since he helped me make a video on my website (which is very hot btw 😆, I didn’t hesitate because I know I could expect some sales from the content we did.
  4. Thanks very much. And that’s what it’s all about. The right to free will and designing their business as they see fit, without being labelled as anything but…a confident person who may have strategized timelessly, to figure out how they wish to do things. It’s been so many times a potential client refers to an escort (including myself every so often) as “a scam” or scammer. I remember one time, a client accused me of being a scammer because he texted the number on my ad, but when I replied it was a different number (I was experimenting with having a separate advertising number, but hadn’t finished setting up the account so I got the message, but it replied from my number). I’m like excuse me? You don’t even know me. In reality, he probably already thought I was a scammer from get go. He just wanted to find any reason to validate his assumption. Aka: timewaster. I think too often, people on the forum side too much with the “client gets nothing, only the escort benefits”. Not true. Well who benefits when the client flakes out, only the client? No, nobody benefits. Even if a provider’s timing of asking for deposit seems “unconventional”, there’s still no proof that he’s a scammer. Like I say, for me I found it best to just say it in my ads and my rentmen autoreply. I no longer show my number, because I got tired of people bum rushing me to meet last minute, but then not want to send a deposit. I stay 60 MILES from the city area where most of my clients come from. On top of that, I often have to travel 3-5 hours to the next city/state to earn a “check”, because majority of guys in my city don’t want to pay. Or they aren’t gay to begin with. What kind of fool would I be, if I were to do these bookings without deposits? Getting dressed, running out, booking rooms etc when only a percentage of those clients a week may actually be serious. Not to mention all the “my wife/son/roommate came home” guys who would likely cancel on me if I didn’t take deposits (which has happened many times, which is why I had to revert to deposits in the first place). It just makes me so annoyed that people here continue to find reasons to make it seem like deposits should not be asked, for all providers. It’s sad. It’s really sad, and it needs to stop. People hiring escorts, even if they don’t want to give anything up front, at the very least ACKNOWLEDGE and respect it, and offer a viable alternative (occasionally I’ll have clients agree to meet and give me the deposit outside in the parking lot…but they have to get to the destination first and wait for me to get there)… In the case of the guy in the lobby being asked for a deposit, again…I don’t know the circumstances of it without a screen shot. Did you previously no show on him? Have you been placed on the naughty list for faking appointments with other providers?
  5. According to whom? I’ve been doing deposit now way back since 2010. It used to mainly be for travel/out of area bookings. But in the last 2-3 years, I decided enough was enough of running around for last minute bookings: booking hotels out of pocket or traveling to a city…and expecting what I thought to get paid, fall thru. There’s even been times I was in a hotel or apartment already: and mofos still didn’t show. I’m not the only one who’s stated this. You have a lot to say about my character. Arrogant? Please. You sound misinformed. Don’t address me again. If you’re going to come with that “don’t hire him” shit, without actually reading all the good reviews I have on both RentMasseur and RentMen from clients who have sent deposits, get outta here 🥾
  6. Well, I think sometimes people want to feel a sense of victory in situations that aren’t always victorious. With that happening in the 90s, and around the time of other charged events…it probably just felt right, in the face of decades of racial injustice. Especially considering the history of lychings to innocent people just over the mere accusation of such crimes. An exoneration seemed like a good victory in comparison. However, at the end of the day it was just an example of wealth and status combined with the all too often and replayed Hollywood tragedy. But likewise, buenos noches to you as well 😴
  7. And on the anniversary of the Titanic; that assumption can often lead to missing: the iceberg 🏔️ right ahead 😐 That may work for some, but many of us don’t operate as lavish as that. I remember chatting to one popular guy here, and he said the same: “I’d love to hookup with other guys after work but…I don’t”. Like I said too, the lack of transparency from Grindr guys is my issue. Last December, I was traveling and stopped in Chicago for the night. I had no bookings, so I decided to go on one of the apps…hoping for something during the time I had my hotel. Which I did, but he didn’t reply back until nearing check out time. I should have continued on to my destination, but I had an extra day to spare…and I was glad to find someone decent, considering all the trash 🚮 I been dealing with most of last year at home. Ended up with $220 in impound fees and damn near panic attack. Like dude, how could you not tell me your apartment complex tows anyone without a permit after 8 p.m. 🤦🏾‍♂️ The apps can be more of a distraction than anything. Sometimes the distraction is beneficial, but other times it just gets me off track and fucks up the flow of what I’m doing. It can often feel like a place to offer “pro-bono” escort services unless they are interested in a consistent, transparent situation.
  8. Absolutely not. But if you go on to make a statement about “Blacks” and then further tie the O.J. verdict to “vengeance” based on that, who’s the straw man now? Like I said, no defense to him at all. I think people may have had his back, up until the memorabilia thing. I don’t doubt he was a despicable person; but that’s a common trait with NFL players are anyway…especially the ones who go on to seek out trophy wives (watch your back, Taylor swift lol j/k). But if we’re going to talk about the bigger picture: let’s include EVERYTHING about the bigger picture. Especially if others are going to throw in suggestions about someone going to hell, and how the whole black community was on his side. Let’s not make those assumptions now. Because if we go there, then we need to include all the examples. OJ wasn’t the only person who got off Scot free. Lot of other people have done some dirt and got off too.
  9. Have fun all…This year started with a lot of responsibilities, and I just can’t swing it this time of year. The hotel chain I used to book thru has closed a few locations in the city, and the options left are inflated and far outside from the action. Of course there’s independent and the nude resorts, but I prefer people to be able to come up to the room without entering a gate. In the future, I wouldn’t mind a BI-annual Palm Springs event 😂 The Coachella event just creates such a gravitational force on the whole valley. I tend to prefer more off season and meet the locals. I will be making my way to SoCal next month though 👍🏾
  10. That sounds hella racist. Blacks? Racial vengeance? What the hell is that? Again, people in the 90s likely hold a different view than now. Just like the George Floyd and even BLM. More Whites are cognitive to injustice than back during those times. I had an Arab friend get a felony for spray painting racist Chinese slur on his brother’s/sister in law’s (who was Chinese) garage. He got off with no jail time (even though he did spend like a year in jail awaiting to see a judge). Sometimes people get too wrapped up in other people’s affairs. I was young when all this broke out, but I remember hating hearing the news about it every fucking day. At the end of the day, it was a family dispute that turned sensational. OJ didn’t go out and kill some person at random. That doesn’t lessen his possible motives, but it shouldn’t have been seen as a race bait by any means. What if the wife and friend were Black, would it make it any less sensational? Not to mention, stuff like privilege is how people like Jeffrey Dahmer and the NYC serial killer both got off for a LOOOONG time and killed SEVERAL before finally being taken down. Sometimes one’s ethnicity, or Celebrity status, even wealth is a privilege in itself: How Jeffrey Dahmer was able to escape justice for so long WWW.UNILAD.COM Experts have weighed in on how the serial killer evaded justice. A friend of mine told me the other day: you always seem to go for White guys, maybe that’s why your dating life is rough. I told him, no…I don’t specifically look for White guys. If they want to talk to me, they talk to me. I may reciprocate, but I don’t often initiate. Because I already know, most White guys won’t give Black guys the chance unless they have an affinity for Black guys. Sad but true. But I have seen people of various backgrounds.
  11. And, is he the first or last? Probably not. I think too many times; a sensational story, trumps what has happened in history and what happens all the time and never goes reported. This is not in defense or objection towards O.J. but: he served his time, he got “his” when he tried to pull off a stunt 2nd time. In the end, nobody here has a heaven or hell to put anyone in. Nobody here has absolute proof that it was him who did it. I have watched various forensic files/48 hours episodes, sometimes “the killer” isn’t always the killer, but the accessory. Nowadays, if someone hires a hit man: there’s different technology to access phone records to trace it down if that were the case. In 1994, that likely wasn’t an option. And for something more relevant: Celebrities Who Got Off Easy for Crimes They Committed WWW.RANKER.COM You might hope that everyone is equal in the eyes of the law, but when it comes to legal justice, there is one... Now, the world now is different than it is back in the 90s. Nowadays, celebrity and political status doesn’t “always” get people as far with things like it used to (as we see now with 2 who are in the spotlight). So if it happened today, maybe it would have been a different story.
  12. Well, I’ll just say one thing: After all my time in the gay scene since 14 and now I’m 36: I personally don’t go visit guys in hotels unless they are paying or we’ve met before. They can come to MY hotel. I know that’s the essence of a traveling escort’s business model, but I trust myself more than I do others. And of course some clients who can’t host, don’t have an option. Nothing bad, but even when meeting for free, they can play games too. That’s why awhile back I suggested to clients, don’t always rely on the escort to host…because most “scams” I’ve dealt with, even in non-monetary situations (yes you can get scammed even without money involved), have been when I’ve gone to a guy’s place. One client told me of a friend of his, who basically got “detained” by someone he met for a hookup. Story didn’t add up but still… But I would have to wonder, would said escort take an Uber or drive to a client’s place and then say “I’m here, I just need a deposit 🤔 When you know better, you do better 🤷🏾‍♂️ Also some clients think every escort is a scam. Ask for their number before booking them? You’re a Scammer. Can’t host? You’re a scammer. Ask them for a photo instead of deposit? Scammer. You’re asking for money at all? SCAMMER!!! I can’t please the masses. I rather just work with the people who don’t have a problem with everything you ask of them.
  13. Fixed it for you 😂 As I mentioned previously, that defeats the purpose but I suppose some feel it’s safer to get them there, than to try and do it right at the start. But my thing even if they did, how would make it any more of a scam? If you’re already there, you’re there. Unless the guy sends a deposit and then disappears. But can’t see the issue based just on that. Personally though, I wouldn’t be booking hotels and then hoping clients show up. As stated, that defeats the point. At the same time, I’m less interested in what or why other guys are doing what they do. Mostly just focused on what I find works best for me, eliminates drama, avoids spending money out of pocket only to be left high and dry, etc. In quote from another sex worker:
  14. Well that doesn’t take a hypothetical feat of reasoning to suggest. It happens all the time. As I’ve stated before, many small towns may not have any clients/escort either. Right, and sometimes it’s not even that. Sometimes RentMen only reaches a limited market. It’s unfortunate that Grindr is as popular as it is, but refuses to allow its members to sell their services. The biz would likely be more volume if it were (though I don’t know if that would mean more profitable. Many Grindr meets only work if offering under 150/200). I’ve tested it out before, but I just don’t have the time to sit online 24/7 and respond to guys, send them my number, and sell. Sometimes it’s not about market this, buyer that, etc. It’s often about visibility. Options. Race. Wealth disparity. Personal beliefs and religion.
  15. It seems like some (providers) are going about the deposit thing all wrong. I can’t speak for other guys but, you can’t book a session and then get a deposit at the time it starts. To me it defeats the whole point. You might as well wait and get the funds upfront. The point of the deposit is to ensure you’re not giving out information about your location, or booking hotels/travel before actually solidifying the booking. If I were to go to Los Angeles, pay $300 for a hotel, and then get deposits: it would be a waste of energy because I’ve already spent the money at that point.
