If I know them well enough... they definitely get a happy birthday text at the very least. The ones I'm particularly close with, I might get them a small trinket or make them something. Some I took on trips with me for their birthday around their birthday. Most of the massages I've had have been on a massage table. A small number have been on a bed. I don't mind either. If the bed is too soft it's not the most comfortable experience. The masseur I've seen most recently tends to do our sessions on a bed. He always asks ahead of time if the bed is firm or soft, when he visits me at a hotel. When I was younger I definitely considered myself more bi and as I have gotten older I think I lean more gay. With women, my attraction is(was) all over the place. I've been told something about me (personality, my face) makes it easy for people to talk to me. Some of the stuff I've heard is tragic and some of it the most uplifting. I didn't take him up on the offer though.) I've heard it all. Do I feel guilty in any way? Absolutely not. For one, I'm used to people spilling their guts to me... whether I know them well or not. However, if someone I know and like/love does it, to me it's a sign of the trust they have in me. I see it as a honor in some ways. They put their emotional trust in me which more often than not, as @Nue2thegame stated, the "relationship was strengthened". It is why I think over the years a number of the guys who have retired from providing I still talk to or see on some level. If you feel guilty in some way because how bad other clients have treated the provider. That I understand and I sympathize. It is and can be a very tough business for provider and client alike.

It depends on a number of factors... for me anyway. If it’s a new hire, I’m usually done after the second delay. That said, I’ve had providers cancel for all kinds of reasons—some understandable, some less so. For example, one provider I was planning to see for the first time kept pushing our meeting later and later. Eventually, he admitted he was having stomach issues and couldn’t properly prepare. He offered to reschedule while he was still in town, but I declined. I appreciated the honesty, though the confession definitely killed the mood for me. If it’s someone I’ve seen before and already have a strong connection with, I’m much more flexible.
