I experienced this when I thought I had found the "perfect" provider and didn't see a need to hire others. He was so exceptional at his craft and checked boxes I hadn't even considered - he set the bar high on what I seek from providers. But it was a short whirlwind because the provider did exactly that ... didn't put forth an effort when I attempted to book our next session. So, after giving him some runway, I had to walk away. Some of the best advice I've received. I'm on the search to find a handful of providers instead of just one or two.

Man, congrats on finding that. I'm still searching for the younger provider who enjoys older guys. I thought I had found one, who I thought had a good head on his shoulders, only to be disappointed by ghosting. So well said! Same here. Although I am discovering some of my preferred provider personas don't have the depth, capacity, or desire to act as a mentor during the paid sessions.

So I'm disqualified. Wish some of the younger providers could see the benefits of having older gentlemen as regular clients.

For me, it is a showstopper unless I've already established a provider/client relationship.

Not sure where this belongs, but a trip down memory lane for me. Got an email notification that my Yahoo! mail will be permanently deleted since I haven't used it for ages. I completely forgot I even had a yahoo account. Interesting, thanks for sharing. When I experience a pain level beyond bothersome, I've typically rotated the med between acetaminophen, naproxen, and ibuprofen. If it gets to a level of unbearable, I've taken all three at once. Guess I am ahead of the market?

It would take a lot for a profession to have that kind of impact on me as you describe. A profession is simply a means to earn income. If I liked him and we were compatible, I'd probably continue to see him. Of course, we all have a line we won't cross.

Ha! I'm one of them. Grew up on a family farm and been a milk drinker all my life. There is nothing like chilled, fresh milk from the bulk storage tank before the hauler comes to take it away for processing and pasteurization! Unfortunately, I developed a lactose intolerance later in life, but I am able to drink ultra processed milk without issue because it is lactose-free. The Coca-Cola Company's investment in Fairlife has brought some great returns, so my portfolio appreciates it too! On the cyber side, the Coca-Cola Company and its various independent bottling partners have been implicated in at least four distinct cyber incidents between 2022 and 2026. I live in a quasi provider desert as well. I've always had to travel to providers and host from hotel rooms. I'd never thought about inviting one to travel to me for an overnight. Sounds like something I should consider. Keep in mind they'll want usual overnight rate + travel costs. One thing I've recently learned is to find forum members who contribute content you find valuable and ask if they have any recommendations/referrals.
