Are you into Exploration or Regularity?

This is a point of curiosity with no right or wrong answer.

But, given the choice, would you choose visiting with a small number of providers frequently or a large number of providers just once and move on to the next?

As I started exploring my sexuality with men over the last two to three years, I found that I preferred the exploration always looking for a new provider in town.  But now I prefer the familiarity of a small number of guys I see often and I hardly ever look at RM anymore.

Fewer with regularity easily. While new can be exciting, I much prefer the BFE, which naturally would lean toward someone with whom you have some history. For me, I want relaxation and comfort level,  not the stress that comes with a new encounter.

I mostly hire massuers and enjoy a mix of regulars and new guys. I have found, however, that lately I've been leaning more towards exploration. I will have an excellent experience with someone and then try someone new instead of hiring him again. There are multiple local guys I'd like to see again, despite not making an effort to do so. I also frequently focus on traveling providers.

Regularity.  When I find someone whose company I enjoy and who knows what buttons to push, I become a frequent visitor.  If he starts taking me for granted, I move on.  I don’t usually explore unless I can’t get in to see one of my regulars and I find my body in need of attention.

I prefer not to limit myself with "OR" statements. 

I choose Exploration AND Regularity.

I have the small group of guys that I see at least once a month while I'm at home, and also like to see a guy each day when I'm traveling.  When traveling, I like to alternate every other day between a new guy and a regular guy that I see every time I'm in that city.  When in a new city where I haven't seen anyone there yet, my boyfriend at the time will have to suffice as my "regular" in until I establish a small group of regulars in that city.

Ideally, I would like a larger group of regulars to see more often, and then participate in more anonymous gang bangs to satisfy my exploration urges.  But, alas, I'm a pretty shy person.

I believe in "cautious exploration" in hiring, but my preference is usually for reliable regularity.

When I hired a lot more frequently, I had a few regulars but also hired new guys regularly as well.

Mostly I stick with regulars and on occasion try someone new.

However as my pool of regulars shrink for various reasons, I tend to look for new people to become regulars.

I tend to carry it to the extreme and focus on only one provider unless and until something happens that causes that one provider no longer be available.  

When what used to be my “home market” of New Orleans had great selection 20 years ago, I would often meet with several providers, but since New Orleans became (and remains) a T-Total disaster for what I’m looking for, I started looking for the closest option.  

Recently, that led me to finding the best provider I’ve ever encountered in my 22 years of hiring, albeit an eight (8) hour bus ride each way.

Right now, he’s on a brief hiatus that I hope doesn’t last too much longer 😄.

When I first discovered RM, I was very curious and spent a lot of time looking through profiles near my area. I booked different massage sessions, and after meeting each provider, it really depended on the chemistry and how comfortable I felt. Some I only saw once and never went back, while a few made me want to book again.

Over time, I stopped searching as much. Now I usually save the masseurs I really like and keep an eye on when they come back to my city. If one of them is visiting, I will usually message right away. Sometimes, if I see a new profile in town that really catches my attention, I may still try one session.

But in general, I no longer have the habit of constantly looking for someone new. If the masseurs I like are not available, I usually just go to a local Chinese massage or foot massage place for a regular body massage and relaxation. For RM, I prefer choosing more carefully now and going back to the ones I already know I enjoy

Eight hours?? I don’t even travel that far for family. 😄

I mostly prefer meeting the same four or so providers regularly. But sometimes I like the excitement of a new provider. I'd say it's an 80/20 split.

My roster is down to two regulars, one each in the locales where I maintain homes. One I’ve seen for ten years and the other three. Neither has had an ad in years. They are totally in sync with me kinks and desires. So, now I’m looking to expand the pool, although the quality overall has slipped considerably.
