Mark_fl Posted Thursday at 01:15 PM Posted Thursday at 01:15 PM As someone who likes the clean-cut, clean shaven look, I'm disappointed to see that the vast majority of providers are sporting beards. Is this just a new trend, or my imagination? Even when there is a profile of a clean cut guy. Half of his pictures show a beard, so you don't know what you'll get. Its certainly not my place to ask someone to shave, but is it tactful to ask, before booking, if they are still clean-shaven or will be for my appointment? Nue2thegame, liubit and + PhileasFogg 3
+ PhileasFogg Posted Thursday at 01:32 PM Posted Thursday at 01:32 PM You can always ask. It’s how you ask that will matter. Asking someone to shave a beard seems wrong, but a few days scruff isn’t that unreasonable. like you, I prefer clean shaven aiseeya, Nue2thegame, liubit and 1 other 1 3

You should be able to ask the provider of your interest to inform you for booking when he is clean shaven. It's certainly a better outcome than say if you are not fond of tattoos (as I am not), which a lot of providers also have now, as beards can be fairly easily removed while tattoos cannot. liubit 1

+ KensingtonHomo Posted Thursday at 04:00 PM Posted Thursday at 04:00 PM I also prefer clean-shaven men or a nice, tight beard or goatee. If a provider has a lot of looks in his profile, you can simply say, "I find you very attractive, but I prefer clean-shaven men. Since your profile includes photos of you clean-shaven and with facial hair, I'm curious if you're currently sporting facial hair." TMB, liubit and + SidewaysDM 1 1 1

I know some guys will tell you about they build status - if they are a BB, they will tell you if they are currently in top shape or not - and I think it is prudent to ask if they are currently clean shaven if that is your preference. As I prefer facial hair, I usually ask if they are sporting facial hair if I am interested. And since I prefer BBs in shape, I will ask about that if I see a bunch of pictures of varying build status. It can be so disappointing to expect a guy to look one way, and they show up differently when you meet them. + SidewaysDM 1
+ SidewaysDM Posted Thursday at 06:13 PM Posted Thursday at 06:13 PM I am unusual, in that I like hairy, well groomed tight beard on men. Also, lightly hairy guys with just a shadow of a beard or clean and smooth shaven. It all depends on the man’s body type. Nodakman 1

I can understand if you're not into tattoos and someone is covered. But in a lot of circumstances, you could meet someone, find them hot, and then head back to their place before ever realizing they have one or more tattoos. If you met me in the fall or winter, none of my tattoos would be visible until I got undressed. TMB, MikeBiDude, big-n-tall and 2 others 5
Mark_fl Posted Thursday at 08:33 PM Author Posted Thursday at 08:33 PM I'm not a fan of tattoos, but as long as they aren't on the face or covering half the neck, it's not a deal breaker. + KensingtonHomo 1
jeezifonly Posted Thursday at 09:44 PM Posted Thursday at 09:44 PM What's with all the beards? Moustaches
rojjodc Posted Thursday at 10:16 PM Posted Thursday at 10:16 PM Going back to the original post statement - "the vast majority of providers are sporting beards". I'm not sure this is true or I have not really tried to compile the stats. I'm really not sure what the post is really getting at - if you don't like a provider that has facial hair, move on. But I know you can't really screen for that in new Rentmen, which is probably frustrating for you. But heck the new Rentmen seems to now cut down on screning options to the old European Rentmen. I like the old one, with European site for searchability, but the new one does show me bigger pictures, and I can also see the videos even though I am not a paying customer.

Veryshyone Posted yesterday at 12:09 AM Posted yesterday at 12:09 AM I don't mind a beard, stubble or clean shaven. For me, it's about physical attributes and sensuality. italianboyph 1
liubit Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) Facial hair is a complete turn-OFF for me. I can let stubble or 5-o’clock shadow pass (in fact, the tingling sensation of stubble on my dick can be sexy), but mustache, goatee, or full beard are total deal breakers. DMonDude Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) I like most facial hair styles other than curly mustaches and big bushy lumberjack beards that are so thick you have to part the forest to find their lips to kiss 😆 (no offense if either of those are you). I'm also not into it when the facial hair line up is soooo sharp that it looks drawn on. Edited 15 hours ago by DMonDude italianboyph 1
italianboyph Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) I've always had facial hair and the trend that people hopped on started many, many years ago, when bears were fully embraced. Everyone realized there's no shame in embracing your natural body hair. I've had people throughout the years actually harass me and tell me to shave all my body hair and maybe I'd get booked. At the end of the day I love it and many men do as well. I think asking them to trim isn't that big a deal before a session, as hair does grow back. If that's what you want, as always be transparent and put it in your profile. That being said from the outside looking in, it's apples to oranges they're plenty of clean cut guys, and they're plenty of guys with who are hairy with beards. That way you don't have to ask someone to change. Edited 9 hours ago by italianboyph + robear and mike carey 2
