I do sessions both at my house and in hotels. Most are for longer times and often overnights. So showers come up as an activity that the provider will often suggest. 
Sometimes they just want the opportunity to clean up before going on their way. Sometimes they will invite me to share. 
I am open to all suggestions they make, sometimes I offer the use without them asking. 
From a post above I can see it could be awkward at the end of the one hour session. Is the extra time included or extra? Are you getting in the shower with him? Or is he just having a good soaking by himself for 15 or 20 minutes after the 1 hour is up. 
I also agree if it is at my house and he is having a 20 minute shower, that is probably adding $10 or $20 to my electricity and water bill as rates are high where I live for both. Because of that I take 3 minute showers max.

Say I've identified what looks and seems to me like a really fine match of an escort for the experience I want to have, based on info from this site. Some of the rooms at Hard Rock Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale have these great showers with two shower head plus three heads on the walls. It is glorious to shower in with someone special.

I've showered with guys once or twice and not really for me. It's a tight squeeze and when I was not under the water I was standing there freezing. Also it was at my house and I was not one to be spending too much time in there as I don't need my water bill taking a hit. I'd try it again if I was at a hotel with a provider in a bigger shower with no need to worry about a water bill. I did meet up with a guy once for a reg hookup and he had an in room jacuzzi which was fun.
