Our April gathering in Palm Springs, hosted by Oliver has been just that. It is a nice chance for providers and clients to meet socially and spend time together, to get to know each other, see old friends, and enjoy company off the clock. Certainly there is some 'sizing up' of each other and requests for appointments outside of the group gatherings. I think it would be great to do likewise at other times of the year too, and perhaps in other locations - Perhaps New York, San Francisco, elsewhere. I heard that there might have been for a while in DC that was similar to the Palm SPrings event. I would be interested.

I find all types of variations with new clients. Some clients will start kissing and heavily making out upon walking in the door - even before clothes are off - with disrobing revealing two rock hard members. Other less experienced or perhaps shy clients will be looking for me to take the lead. If we have never met, and they don't just come right on to me, I will sit down for a moment with them to give a short introduction, asking about how they would like to spend time with me, and stating that I am always respectful of their boundaries and limits while also their goals and desires.

I always ask clients their limits and desires, and never make an assumption beforehand, but then have rarely had a client ask me to use a condom.

I am planning to cruise up and down the PS Villagefest tonight (Thursday) - It is their weekly street fair along Palm Canyon Drive. If anyone is here already come out to the festival - I would be delighted to see you - Pete.

I have had many first-time clients. It is always my intention to be caring, kind, and consentual. Once I log into my RentMasseur profile (after having previously logged out) it will show the green light as "now" indicating I am online now, even without setting the "available now" indicator, and it will set the last log in time as the current moment when I log in. If I close the browser without logging off, it will change my green light to grey, and will show the last time online as the time I closed my browser, and will retain the date/time when I logged in earlier. If I come back later and reopen the site in my browser after having not logged out the previously time, I get back into my account without having to log in, and the green light will reignite showing my new time online, but it will not reset the last log in time, as I didn't log out the last time. As JamesB pointed out, that makes the last log in time not very useful. If I log in and set the "available now" indicator for 6 hours, it will retain my green light and my "available now" status for the 6-hour duration, even if I log out and/or close the browser. If someone sends me a message through the app, even if I have logged out and/or closed the browser, I will get a notification to my phone and I can reopen the browser to respond to the client message. I had to be a "real" message typed by a client though for the notification to come through. If someone merely checked out my profile and the system sent me an automated notification of the profile view, it will not ping me, but I will see that notification when I open the app again and check out my profile. At the end of the six hour duration, or whatever amount of time I set for the "available now" - the green light will go back to grey and will again pick up my new last online time.

I can set my status to "available" "not-available" or "not set". "Not set" is the default setting if I am offline. Once I log on, the setting changes to green and shows as "available" I can also manually set myself as "available" so even if I am not right at the computer but cooking or doing laundry or something, I can keep the "available" light on for up to 6 hours. If I know that I have a client booked in the afternoon, or if I am not available at all for a day because I have some other plans, I can change the setting to show as "not available" - either for a number of hours, for a day, or a week - in order to not waste your time if you are looking for something right now. So I would say that if you see a "not available" - it means the person is not available right now, or probably not for the next few hours, but may be available later or the next day. Peter

I never expect a tip, but always appreciate one if offered. I list on Rentmasseur and believe I am asking reasonable rates in the first place. I often get a $20-$40 tip, but if someone offers me only what I have asked for in the first place, I don't think any less of him. What I find really heart-warming is the guy who didn't think about a tip in the first place, and brought just the agreed rate, but then enjoyed spending time with me and goes through his walllet for any spare bills that he has.....like a $5 and a couple of ones. That always makes me smile! Occasionally guys have also offered things like gift cards, a bottle of wine, or other added gifts.

Greetings- Though I am a masseur myself, I love going to check out other masseurs and spas in different cities. I just moved back to San Francisco, and wondering if anyone has any experience visiting "Always Tan and Skin and Body" in San Francisco.
