Well, I splurged on an OF provider in Madrid that I WAS a fan of:

One of the my only regrets on an otherwise fantastic trip.  Horrible waste of time and money.  

The exact opposite happened with an OF provider in LA who was fantastic.

I haven’t subscribed to anyone’s OF in a long time. There were a couple guys in the past who were potential meets that I bought a 30 day subscription, no automatic renewal to get a feel for them. I ended up going ahead and hiring the few guys that I “previewed” on OF.

When in Phoenix I will sometimes go to bars on the nights when go-go boys are dancing. They are fun to watch and I tip enough to cop a feel. The only thing I do other than hire escorts/masseurs is subscribe to one of my regular hire’s JFF.  I was seeing him before he started the JFF and I enjoy watching his videos because I can put myself in the shoes (so to speak) of the guys he films with.  (I can also relive one of the sessions I had with him since it’s also out there on his JFF). So full disclosure, I’ve never been to a male strip club. However I have hired and regularly see two of the strippers who used to frequent Adonis and BuffDaddy’s.

i have hied a number of providers who were mainstream porn actors and had fansites. Soome became porn actors after I met them and some were before. I have done what @MikeBiDude mentioned previously. One guy, after hiring  him, gave me 3 months of access to his onlyfans for free. Some asked me to join and some I temporarily joined their sites just before or right after I met them.

My preference is to meet whomever in person but in some cases it is not going to happen because they don’t escort, they’re somewhere I’ll never go or their rates are too high. So I’ll check their porn or their fansite. I’ll check both if they do both too.

#2 Strip clubs obligate payment for cover and drinks only. Uncovering optional. I think the internal question there is more “Do I pay for this version of commercial sex work?” Sometimes, “Is there a booth available?” 

#3 The third option referenced is clear and may proceed from Part 2 of #2 or be sourced independently of #2. Sometimes, “How much, and how much do I get?” 

For 1-on-1 in-person I will 99% of the time have interacted a bit in-person, so obviously strip clubs or similar venues trump ad platforms, their inherent mystery, and associated detective work.

You are not alone.

For decades, porn sites — I’d categorize OF under this umbrella term — were my only sexual outlets.  Even then, I’ve never paid for OF contents because OF’s monotonous, “single actor” nature is not too appealing to me.

I’ve never had the guts to visit a strip club yet.  I’m still too inexperienced/vanilla to watch or be watched by complete strangers in public.

Everything changed the moment I had a taste of the forbidden fruit (i.e. this hobby).  Nothing compares to real human touch.  I can’t go back now.   😜  Although I still watch porn, they can rarely satisfy my appetite.   

Of course there’s a significant cost difference between what’s behind a computer/phone screen and real human interactions.  The value is worth the price.

Based on recent history, I definitely experienced that with the first guy.  The second one could not have been more night and day in comparison.  👍

It used to be RM ads and their like were used primarily to drive OF subs.  Beginning to see more guys actually meeting clients.  Finding the ones actually being engaged and interactive is the challenge.

Once i got into hiring, i pretty much stopped using OF almost entirely. There's like a single digit amount of guys who i still buy content from occasionally but i mostly buy from them directly over Telegram or social media DMs. Mainly guys who i find incredibly hot, but aren't the type/have the "expected" look/are too internet famous for fully getting into escorting. So i still feel like I'm getting something worth the money in that way.

I've found some of those guys are down to be hired, but guys who don't actually escort but may be down to do something for the "right price", that price is very much not in line with escort pricing. So i haven't really been able to make it happen with those guys yet because the kind of numbers they say aren't within what I'm capable of doing yet. So i just stick with the escorts mostly.

I've been a porn hound since I was a teenager.  It doesn't matter if I'm regularly getting it in the flesh or not -- I enjoy watching porn.  While I don't subscribe to any Fans pages on an ongoing basis, when someone catches my eye in a significant way I'll typically do an initial subscription for a month (or maybe longer if they have a decent promotion for a longer subscription).  Most guys aren't worth returning to, for me, because they don't post enough new, full length content to make it worthwhile.
