I'm seeing there is a lot of variation in what escorts charge. I'm curious what factors you consider when deciding if an escort is worth the price or not.

I'm curious if anyone has a range that theyre willing to pay based on how many of their own checkmarks are clicked off by a provider

My interest in guys is pretty narrow, so it's got to be a 'yes' for me before I reach out. If the response and price is satisfactory, then I can book. If a guy wasn't my 'type', not only would I not know the price, but wouldn't be interested if free.

Well I am always interested in free. Not to say that it is always a yes, but depending on the star alignment and hormomal levels, free always seems to be an option I will consider. I started out with a very narrow range of type of men to whom I was attracted. As my experience has increases, I find I have a greater range. That being the case, if I am interested enough to call, I am interested enough in paying the price within reason. Convenience to location or having them willing to visit me will play a role and I will pay a bit more for that convenience. When I lived in NJ that was definitely the case with NY escorts coming out to visit me.

Ultimately once the little head is involved, price definitely is less of an issue as the big head usually is the one taking that into consideration.

One big thing I filter on these days is lucidity in their replies. If they text like they can barely comprehend or process basic communication, I will stop the conversation quite fast.

The main reasons I pay for escorts is ease of scheduling and convenience.

While there's variation in what escorts charge, that variation is not THAT wide. In NYC, where I usually hire, hourly rates are between $300 and $500, with $400 being the most common figure quoted. (Second hours or longer sessions are usually less per hour, etc.) Of course, there are the $1,000 an hour guys, who I don't even consider. But within the "normal" range, I'm insensitive to price and make a hiring decision based on looks, convenience (whether and where they can host), reviews, and vibe from the initial communications. In my experience, I never had a good session with a $300 guy that wouldn't have been just as good if he cost $500 and I've never had a bad session with a $500 guy that would have been any better if I'd only paid $300.

There's a checklist of things I look for in a provider which include physical traits and things they'll do or get into. So if someone for instance checks off every, or almost every, box I'm more than willing to pay the very top of my comfort zone what they charge.

I've paid 500/hr with a min of 2 hours before to someone who IS Top quality. He was a total professional for the most part, great body, dick and personality. Talking 4k overnights, 8k weekends where I would fly him around and put him up in 5 star hotels. Unfortunately they started slacking and after a while they performed less and less... so I booked less and less and nowadays I don't book him at all. His loss.

Not necessarily pay more, but more likely to hire: just like @jackcali mentioned above, my local average rate is quite similar to that of NYC. So I stay within that reasonable, average market range. I won’t even bother with those who price themselves higher than the deities because they are marketed for the celebrities, filthy rich, and royalties — definitely NOT me.

I’m neither a compulsive nor impulsive buyer. Whenever I see a tantalizing profile, I’ll add it to my buddy list. If I find myself revisiting the same profile again and again over a good/long period of time, it signals to me that there are certain qualities about this person that arouse me. That’s when I begin to make my move.

I would donate more to an escort if I liked my first experience, and noticed an uptick in their rate. Otherwise, it's a search for someone else who would be within my budget who I can sense would be a good match for me.

Not always. I suppose it depends on what is perceived as "regular". I consider seeing someone who visits my town annually to be a "regular", since I see him every time. But, on his end, once a year isn't really regular, and I shouldn't be immune to a rate increase, should he have one. Seeing someone every month or week - that should be under the guise of being a regular.

I definitely have to think twice once someone is quoting more than $300 an hour. Factors that could make me go up: Great chemistry on a get-to-know-you-call. He advertises a fetish I really like (such as a top who enjoys being rimmed). I don't really have physical types, but sometimes someone has a certain look where my interest goes up. And sometimes, my drive is higher and therefore my price tolerance is too.

I usually hire for an hour or two, which is enough activity for me, and I'm not an interesting enough conversationalist to fill the time of a longer session. I do love to cook though, and the idea of cooking and enjoying a nice dinner with an escort (with other activities before and after) sounds like my perfect multi-hour session. I'll have to keep an eye out for the opportunity.
