What level of restaurant and hotel do you go with providers?

I’ve found some can be put off by high end restaurants, or they’d rather have the money I “wasted” on overpriced steak.  I stay at a Hilton or Marriott and meet them in the bar area that serves food.  Offer them a bite to eat and a drink.

As nice as I want to experience myself

Agree. Bingo!

I’ve arranged reservations for my clients at high end restaurants because I know their taste, but also done the same to introduce them to some good modestly priced local eats that they never would have otherwise considered and they thanked me for bringing me there.

One of my overnight clients prefers no meals together, just a late night start time and an early morning departure. For him, I bring a few pastries and his favorite morning beverage: diet Dr Pepper. Not everyone’s cup of tea. Most would prefer coffee, but neither he nor I drink coffee. Personally I shudder at the thought of a diet soda beverage at any time, but especially first thing in the morning. But hey, he still wants caffeine, and this is what he likes. I know my clients well and I cater to them, however sophisticated or not-so-sophisticated their tastes and preferences may be.

There is no standard answer. A good escort adapts to his client’s preferences and places no judgment on him for selecting something modest or fancy. Clients pay us for our time. Time together over a meal (of any kind), is time well spent. Whether he tips or how much he tips has no bearing on what he is spending on dining. Our compensation is $, not food, beverages, gifts, or experiences. None of those pay our bills. $ does.

Clients - you don’t need to impress us. Nor be embarrassed about spending modestly on dining either. We are here for you, to be good company and give you an experience you won’t soon forget.

Planning to have a lunch with an escort for the first time. A little bit hesitant when it comes to choosing restaurant.

When you dine out with providers, what level of restaurant do you go?.

Taco Bell.
If Bozo is in a generous mood and feels like splurging, then we head off to Chipotle.

Wise choice. An all-in-one meal and colonic cleanse. Saves time on the cleanout.

Exactly!
And every one of the choices in their Cantina menu is delicious. Bozo spares no expense when it comes to dining out with a $300-an-hour escort.

The food here is just as tasty as in some high-falutin, fancy-schmantzy restaurant!

This is exactly the right answer.

That said, my best clients make most time we share together a conversation, not a dictation.

If they are foodies or are curious about high-end dining, I have that experience to steer them.

Me too. I’m not engaging a man servant.  I’m engaging a companion whom I want to feel like is getting something they want out of the trip too.

But that also means I have to choose someone who knows how to act in these kinds of places

Usually when I actually meet in LA, I'm meeting gents who are from out of town.  I have an affinity for introducing them to places that I consider 'old school' and good to great to excellent.  For the latter, I'll say Dan Tana's on Santa Monica; for the 'good' (when I couldn't get us into Dan Tana's) I took my 'date' to Lawry's on La Cienega.

One travel buddy talked me into Cipriani's in Vegas at the Wynn; apparently there's one in Beverly Hills I've never eaten at.  it was smashingly good.

But like Simon, the focus is on local-ish places they probably would not have tried or known about themselves as out of town visitors.  And for those of you 'in' on LA more than me, don't mock me for my choices . . .

After all, even the Pantry closed down after almost 100 years.

I agree that the compensation is the fee agreed on between the client and provider. Other benefits are just that, icing on the cake.

When I do an overnight I generally pay for a nice dinner and a nice breakfast. The providers are often not in their hometown. So providing two out of the three meals required daily by most people means they are saving on expenses of dining out.

I hire tops and on an overnight they work up a good appetite, as I do. I like big guys with large appetites and they usually appreciate a good meal. If I spend about $150 to $200 on their share of the meals, it’s a benefit but the fee is still the fee they are looking forward to, which I understand. That’s what pays the rent or the car payments.

I’ve been taken to Annabel’s in Berkeley Square (private high end London club  for those not familiar) by a client, and to a chain coffee shop for a coffee and cake. It really doesn’t matter (although it did feel special at the club…the toilets are astonishing!) it’s the company that matters most. That said, I prefer an out call at a quality hotel rather than a lower end chain hotel. It just somehow feels a bit downbeat at those chain hotels. The walls are thin too.

How long has Annabel’s been going? I have friends who named their daughter after that club and that was 50 years ago.

Since the early 60’s I think. It’s not especially old (in London terms).

I had a young fellow I used to see in Puerto Vallarta, and all he ever wanted to eat was pizza and coke. That's one of the clues I got that I should be going out with slightly older guys.

yeah, your are right must most be adult now you have to look for a girl and have a great mature time with her.

Just go with a place that you would have a nice meal in for yourself and a hotel room that you would normally book for yourself.  Since I found a good rate/place on dayuse.com, I have not hosted in a local bathhouse (I'm in Vegas) but the escorts I mentioned that to were cool with that.
