Is this important for anyone? I've recently development the desire for tall guys. In the entire socal area there's only 31 guys 6'4" or taller. I'm 6" so finding guys taller than me can be difficult.

As someone who is 6'2", I agree finding someone taller than me is difficult but also a big fantasy of mine.

I have typically preferred guys who are taller than me. But I'm 5'11", so that eliminates more than 80 percent of the men. Only 15-20% of American men are 6' and taller.

I'm more open to guys of varying heights now, but I definitely enjoy a 6'6" guy when I find one.

As a very short guy, once a guy hits 5’10 or so it’s all the same since he’s towering over me regardless.  Plus, I don’t really have a preference for whether a guy is close-ish to my height or taller. That said, the provider I am most excited to repeat is 6’4 (for reasons having nothing to do with his height).

I am interested in the opposite. I prefer guys my height or shorter. Not sure why I find off putting to go out (or hire) a guy who's taller than me.

I think it's just a matter of preference, and it's not written in stone. Some providers I've hired have been taller than me and I've enjoyed wit them as much, but I don't prefer them.

I don’t care about someone’s height. If I find the guy attractive whether he’s 5’5” or 6’5” (the respective heights of the shortest and tallest ones I’ve met), i’m all in. I really have no preference.
