Anyone who’s worked in the service industry will tell you the customer is almost always wrong… the slogan the customer is always right is just something bosses tell their workers so they have to take the abuse of Karen’s and not hurt the companies image by clapping back at people.

You guys are impossible. The perfect guy doesn't exist. It starts with yourself, your mindset, your vibe. You want better experiences from people? Work on yourself, elevate your frequency and better things will come your way. So much negativity on here, from all I've read, if I was a provider I wouldn't want to be hired by a majority of the guys on here. So many many selfish men who only think of themselves. No wonder why they're so unhappy.

I've been on hiring break for a couple weeks. But prior to that i hadn't noticed any issues. The providers who are good had still been good and the ones who weren't good either stayed not good or eventually got better once they figured out how this works. I hadn't noticed or experienced any broader shift in how providers treat us personally. The customer is definitely not always right though lol.

Took a quick trip down to PVR for a Saturday and Sunday night. Did NOT disappoint! Warning! Long post… I did a little more research before going down this time. Looked up some guys on RM and RentMasseur to see if any of them danced. It's cheaper to rent on average regardless of whether you're renting a studio or a house in those areas. And while you were paying off your mortgage, those of us who invested in stocks were earning a higher compounding rate of return: "Trish Regan: "People trap their savings in a home. They're running an opportunity cost of not having that money liquid to earn a better return in the market. Why do it?" Robert Shiller: "Absolutely! Housing traditionally is not viewed as a great investment. It takes maintenance, it depreciates, it goes out of style. All of those are problems." Shiller estimated the real return on housing between 1890-1990 to be 0-1%, which is why it's mostly a consumption good, not an investment (the returns have been higher since then but still below the stock market). And it's an especially bad investment if you take out a 50-year mortgage at a higher interest rate.

It's a common myth that the real estate agents like to promote that owning is better than renting because renters don't build equity. A renter who invests the equivalent of a down payment in the stock market (which yields higher returns than real estate over the long term) and invests the difference of paying less in rent than the cost of owning (which is currently the case in all 50 of the largest metro areas) can end up better off financially than someone who buys a house.

I'm quite flexible with a provider if they don't bottom, but at a minimum, you gotta be open to kissing and being orally inclined to make the experience feel satisfactory.
