It only matters if it matters to you. Confidence is far more attractive than physical looks. People are attracted to the thing they want most and usually that’s a sense of personal security and confidence that says “what you think of me is a non factor in my life”. Plus it helps if you take a semblance of care of yourself. You don’t have to be pretty but you shouldn’t be giving “im a mess” vibes either

I am on record as a white bottom who exclusively hires black tops and while Im not stupid enough to think that they don’t ever bottom, I don’t want to see it happen or know about it. First off im the client and their attention should be on me. Second , for me I hire because I want to create/recreate/produce a fantasy and turn it into a reality, so I prefer to maintain at least the illusion of being with a man/men who would never want to be submissive and would never allow another man to top him. It’s actually good to see that providers are able to charge more- everything else has gotten so much more expensive and sex workers have bills to pay too. That said Ive had to curtail my hiring because of a job loss and consider myself fortunate to have several providers ive always been extremely generous to and supportive of who have continued to charge me the rate we started with. It’s one reason I don’t often stray from my regulars. The potential new providers i hit up are all asking for more than I can (or am willing to) spend. im a great client so my regulars appreciate me and look out for me when they can- that’s pretty much the only reason im still able to hire and haven’t had to resort to finding dick on the street or at sex parties etc

I participated in the original study that led to the development of prep and i was told that I had the genetic mutation and that it would be incredibly difficult for me to get infected, which explained why after all my unsafe adventures I remained negative. That said, “resistant” is not immune - I finally tested positive a couple years ago. Apparently the mutation appears in people whose ancestors had the plague but survived and had children. If you have it on both sides of your genetic code you are basically immune. They recently had success in turning a positive guy totally negative when they gave him a bone marrow transplant from a person with the mutation on both sides. I have it on one side and it protected me from being infected much earlier and probably dying since they didn’t have the meds they have now. I watched dozens of friends die and I always felt guilty- still kinda do now that Ive converted but not until after it’s no longer a death sentence. anyway it’s actual and factual science and I would assume that they’re actively working on ways to either mirror the mutation or use the blood marrow of those with the mutation (possibly after death?) to CURE the disease altogether. Of course that won’t make them as much money so they may just patent it and hide it away alongside the cure for cancer and the basically perfect electric car that already exists but has been under wraps for decades.

Funny how similar some of our experiences are. I have developed a good radar for what I consider “hustlers” which to me means they are just trying to get whatever they can out of me and while they might have themselves available sexually it’s not gonna be good enough to be worth it. If they aren’t actually sexually available and are just trying to get whatever they can from me without actually meeting I consider that to be a “scammer”. Its a slightly more elevated art and there are lots of basic red flags for each of the above. Now that Im a bit older and have less time to waste on the hunt and more disposable income to spend on convenience and high quality service, plus with the disappearance of CL and many of the spots (bars, clubs, “strolls”, video stores booths etc) that were once and we thought forever the official hunting grounds for “trade”, Ive stopped playing games and as of several years ago hired actual professionals who are trying to provide the services that their clients want. That’s iwhy I subscribe to RM and while I do miss the days of finding incredible guys who just wanted a little help and were happy to play too, it’s nice being sure that you are gonna get a high quality experience doing what you want with someone you chose who wants you to be satisfied and where the terms are clear and everyone holds up their end. Win-win-win in my book. Sucks when you don’t have the coins to do it tho. i guess desperate times/desperate measures… then again every time Ive been got - and it’s a good amount- i always figure that if they’re desperate enough to go through all that to get a couple dollars from me they are probably in a much worse situation than I am and I’m fortunate to be able to afford losing it. Now I know better.

They were each great in their own way but I think when John Cameron Mitchell returned (and immediately broke his foot) was the most authentic to the original off-broadway production for obvious reasons, but tbh Taye Diggs was truly hilarious and really surprised me. Darren Kriss was probably the least engaging for me but the show was so good I consider myself blessed to have gone so many times with zero disappointments. That in and if itself is a serious achievement cause I’m jaded lol.

I’ve seen that too although on a pretty limited scale- it happens because the skin hasn’t been properly stretched as it grows during adolescence m. My understanding is that it should be pulled back so the skin will not be too tight around the tip. There are simple surgical and non surgical options for those who have this condition. No need to suffer and having it is a privilege in the us imo- i consider it the first act of child abuse i mean we don’t cut off boys nipples or our earlobes- we have these traits for a reason and I wish my parents had left me intact. I prefer uncut dick exponentially.

Great topic. I have recently been having this issue with my regular provider. As he has expanded his client base he is less present when he’s with me and although he always delivers, he seems to be taking me for granted and not really putting in the effort. This might be because I sometimes bring in other tops but I always pay him more than them and he’s always in charge. I do think that communication is the key here and I will be speaking with him about it the next time we get together.

Wow im so sorry that happened. That sucks. It’s always a bit of a crapshoot unless you have already hired them in the past that’s another reason I tend to stick with those with whom I’ve already had a good experience. He’s been on my list so I’m really glad you posted this
