Would like feedback on disappointing experience ...

So I had really been looking forward to meeting with Jesusguevara for quite some time. We had a quick facetime chat and he seemed very nice and real, plus he is a perfect match for my fantasies.  We made a date to meet tonight - I said I'd send an uber at 7:30. When I texted him, he asked if I could zelle him $35 to pay his friend who is an uber driver whom he said he wanted to help out. I was reluctant but agreed. He gave me the friend's name and cell #, (after raising the price to $50), and it came up as unregistered on Zelle. When I told him that, he then sent me another phone number with another name. At this point I said I'm sorry this doesn't work for me - let me just send you an uber. He wote, "you're a complete waste of time", then said, ok send me an uber in a few minutes. I wrote him, how can I invite you to my house, you just insulted me. He said, ok, I don't want to meet either now. I guess I did the right thing but boy am I disappointed ... he seemed so nice when we first met ... any feedback? Curious what others think.

To be totally honest with you,  what a total a-hole.  There are so many great providers out there.  This guys not worth the time of day.

Darling, you’ve probably just dodged a bullet. I understand the disappointment; it’s happened to many of us. Consider yourself lucky. Give yourself a day or two and then start planning your next encounter. Thank you, also, for telling the community about your experience.

Thanks for the feedback! My brain agrees with you but my sex-love-fantasy-part is so disappointed lol ... I will get over it for sure.

Most of us have experienced similar disappointments with a much desired provider. You handled it perfectly. Don’t let it discourage you from future hiring. The guys on this forum are a great resource for finding a new provider. Good luck!

Sorry that happened. I would never hire a guy that young. Around 25 is the minimum age for me, but prefer guys in their 30s and even early 40s. 19 year olds just don’t have the maturity, nor the development, both mentally and physically. They are also more likely to be on the skinny twinkish side of things, which is not my type.

That sucks it didn't work out well with him. You did the right thing for sure.

I've experienced guys like him before both in hiring and just hooking up off Grindr/apps. Young, hot, likely very in demand and juggling tons of options. They want you to book and make it happen as quickly as possible and they don't like answering too many questions or getting into details. Anything more than the bare minimum to confirm and execute is uninteresting and a waste of time to them. If you ask too many questions or don't jump through their weird hoops they will bail and pick up the next available client/potential hookup (whom they're likely in various stages of booking others simultaneously to you and they just go see whichever one locks it in first and leave the others hanging because they have so many options it doesn't matter). Dudes like this are just incredibly flakey.

As far as the weird sending the small fee to their friend thing. I've also experienced that before. One guy i used to see regularly would book a motel for us and on our first couple meets he always had me Zelle the motel room deposit of $50-75 to a different person each time of the first like 3 or 4 times i met him, but I'd bring him cash for the full rate. After a while he had me send the motel booking deposits direct to him.

I felt just as suspicious about it at first but followed through anyway as you did. It ended up being fine, so i didn't question it after the first time. I never asked who those other people were, but if i had to assume i figure it was either someone he knew at the motel who'd hold a room for him (it's his go to spot for hosting clients who can't host him and for filming OnlyFans/Twitter content with collabs who come to him) or it was going to friends/family he was trying to spread the wealth to. Luckily this guy wasn't flakey and performs well in the session, but yeah i was super weirded out by the "send 50 to my friend first" thing too.

I said something just like this in another thread. The providers with whom I've had the best times have been 30-40 something. They tend to be more mature and experienced. Some guys are only into young guys and I get it. But if you're open to it, then consider looking up the scale a bit.

I hear you. But I am really into twinks, and I have been lucky enough to find a few who are respectful and not flaky ... but one does have to be careful, that's why I back away from anything suspect ...

I also like the younger guys and, while many of them are immature, scammers come in every age.  I am guessing that he wanted the cash for the Uber because he wasn't going to take an Uber but would travel to you another way (e.g., by public transportation or a cheaper car service).  Sending the money to a 'friend' could be because he doesn't have a bank account, but it complicates the negotiation and raises suspicions, which you don't want to do when making a sale.  You were kind to go along with it as far as you did, but if his request was really about transportation, he'd have just taken your offer to get him an Uber.  It was him trying to grab for just a little more money that made it all go south.

Years ago, I hired a younger guy in LA for a one-hour session at my hotel (I was traveling for work), and we had so much fun I extended it for a second hour and then a third.  I paid him three times his one-hour rate (I didn't ask for a multiple-hour discount) plus a very good tip and I told him that I was in town for the rest of the week and would love to see him again the next night.  Shortly after he left, I got a call from the hotel garage saying that someone was trying to charge a parking fee to my room.  Hotel garages are expensive, but the charge was maybe 3% of what I'd paid him or 10% of his tip.  I rejected the charge and didn't contact him again.  As much as I wanted to see him and as great as our time together was, his grabbing for a little more pissed me off so much the connection I felt with him was ruined.

The balls on this guy, Jesus.  We all say "WOW!" too often in response to people's behavior, but Dude, really, wow.  I'm truly sorry that happened, you could have become friends.

He's from Venezuela.  They probably use the metric calendar down there.

I'm from Venezuela and we do use the metric system ha. What I'll say is, I've met and know a lot of the Venezuelan providers on RM and would stay away from about 90% of them. In fact, some of the ones I would recommend post they're from Colombia or Brazil.
