Someone can search on a regular cell phone # and your entire life is exposed: addresses, relatives etc. If you're okay with that then no need to use a burner phone or number.

Full disclosure, I have not been yet. The spa is coed, but it's my understanding that the massage area is within view of the naked area so you will get a male masseur. I was one of those who twice had my phone and car searched when entering Canada (land entry on the WA border). No issues (or (I would be writing this from a Canadian jail) and when it was done and I was cleared, I politely asked why and received a polite non-answer. A couple of years later Canada had no problem issuing me a Nexus card for expedited land entry. -

It doesn't make a difference to me, although it's pretty rare for me to be with someone who's taller than me as I'm tall. I figure once you're horizontal it feels like you're the same height. I remember the first time I kissed someone my height (20 years ago - Justin in Anaheim) - it was revelatory - his lips were right there, no bending down. 😀

My experience was like 510guy's. It's like there are two masseurs on one ad - it's been 9 months since I've seen him, but I do not remember him tall at all. And, yes, I checked the phone # to make sure I was recalling the right person.

These are the ones I know of although they may stretch your definition of nearby. I have not been to either, although Babylon West intrigues me and I may make the trip there someday - it doesn't give an exact location but is apparently an hour from Seattle (maybe JBLM vicinity). I saw him a year ago in Palm Springs. Nice enough guy, great body, massage was decent (IIRC), but... massage was on a bed - maybe not an issue if you see him in LA, it was expensive, he always seemed to be in a position that mutual touch was impossible. I will not repeat.

I'm fine with starting with the RM chat. I have had a few outcalls using only RM chat and it's worked out fine. But, after a bad experience getting into a provider's building, I will not do an incall without a number to text. -

I saw Daniel in Seattle and recommend. Looks like his pics, sweet guy, easy to talk with and schedule and a good massage. In the end I left happy. He does offer add-ons to the basic sensual massage and those were communicated in his first message.
