Last month, finally hooked up with a friend acquaintance for the first time, after months of trying to align sschedules. Both of us are older, and that age kicked in. It was difficult for either of us to really get excited.

So I had this thought today, that maybe we could get together, and hire one provider to come service both of us.

Would a provider want/need to charge differently since there are two of us as clients, instead of just the usual one? Will we have difficulty even finding a provider that would have us both?

Gays usually call it a three-way, whereas straights call it a threesome. 😛

I appreciate the clarification.  I truly had no idea.   Being bi, I suppose I can go both ways?? 😉😅😇

Edited to add:   I just consulted the ChatGpT oracle that suggested threesome is gender neutral and that three way is simply “raunchier.”

Hey it might not be a 3sum actually. Myself and another top bud once had a bottom over and just took a turn one on one in the bedroom with them while the other chilled in the living room. 😅

I do that with some massage clients. A couple book me and then I massage (etc…) each of them sequentially. Sometimes they watch each other, sometimes they go off and do something else while their partner is being done. For the watchers / watched it’s a voyeuristic thing. For the others I think they talk to each other afterwards about what happened. It’s quite common for male / female couples for the male to want to watch his female partner with me. That’s a cuckold experience.

I have had this same issue.  I imagine this hobby has spoiled me as to “normal” expectations.  If someone isn’t almost exactly my type, I’m a limp dick.  On one hand it’s problem?  On the other hand I feel sorry for friends my age…sleeping with their old ladies.  I just shutter…..

Haven't you guys heard of Viagra? I'm assuming "excitement" means erections here. If so, there's a pill for that. Of course, even viagra requires there to be some desire. If @SometimesBi and his buddy don't have desire for each other, viagra won't work.

Now @Thelatin, I see it differently. If closeted men are staying with their wives, I feel bad for the wives who are being lied to and cheated on. I sincerely hope they're not having sex with their husbands as they are potentially being exposed to STIs without their knowledge. That's grotesque and should be the thing that makes you shudder.

Maybe they're in love with those "old ladies".... I don't feel sorry for other folks' choices if that's actually their choice. I don't share this hobby with most of my friends because they might express disapproval and even feel sorry about me paying for sex while they don't.

Have you ever had sex while in love?

Not taking this out of subject but... what's "exactly" your type?

Months of trying to align schedules?

If there's a will there's a way.

@KensingtonHomo I also feel empathy for women in that kind of situation! Fortunately, now that being gay isn't illegal, and is even socially accepted, the number of gay men seeking marriage to a woman and hide their true identity to get social acceptance is not as high as before.

Many of my friends in the 60's lured women into marriages, got them pregnant and later on divorced them to "go back" to being gay.

I reached out to a provider (who prefers to bottom) and let him know I am a top and wanted him to find another bottom to join us. They each charged $300 and it was $600 well spent. Fast forward several months and I let the same provider know that I wanted to do a threeway again,  but this time my buddy (an escort i used to hire,  who no longer is in the business,  but is now a good friend) would be the second bottom. The provider said he charges $500 for two clients.  I felt akward letting him know my buddy was a former escort. Curious how to navigate this issue if it comes to again.

I don’t see why it’s necessary to mention that your friend used to be a provider. You could simply say that someone else will be there and whether you expect them to interact or not. I just don’t think his past occupation needs to be brought up.

Since we hire primarily as a couple, we occasionally encounter this issue. For the most part, I don't see how having two people is more work than having one - arguably, it's less. So, generally, if a provider wants to double their fee for a couple, we move on. And I agree with @JamesB that your friend's prior occupation is irrelevant.

Thanks guys,  in principle I understand why a provider would think two clients usually means more work,  but is love to hear from a provider on here about this.  In SF i find it near universal that a provider will charge more.

I believe the point here is that when there were two providers, the provider in question accepted $300 in payment.  Now, with another person, he is asking $500, whereas if it were a provider it would be $300.  I think that he should mention that the second person also has experience in being a provider to see if that makes a difference.  If it does not, nothing lost.  If it does reduce his fee, perhaps a reasonably nice dinner for 3 could be a good use for the extra $200.

If you expect one escort to tag team you both, yes, a higher honorarium is common sense and justified. That is double the work.

As I mentioned earlier, in case you don't have a proper partner, amateurs make the best third. They cost less but fill the gap.
