    Sex work is service work.
Having an excellent physical product is enough for some clients. But most of us clients need interaction that includes presence and a willingness to please. If an extra hot guy finds that too taxing for an hour or so, it’s not a viable match of personality and career.

I don't want to see pets pawned-off or in shelters, because owners, depressed or otherwise, bit off more than they can chew, as is most often the case with discarded pets.
I also touched on working on improving sleep, exercising, considering therapy, not discounting medicine, and other options, admittedly without swearing.  I apologize if my dirty mouth offended.

My hands don't work too well, and my fingers are chubby, so I can't text.  I have to dictate.  I can tell you Siri is not a baseball fan, because she always screws up names and game situations when I'm texting with my sister and brother in law.
So Siri knows I like to listen to ELO or ABBA or Rick Springfield on youtube on my phone when I do dishes.  Let her try to blackmail  me.  I'm not ashamed!

    1) I mentioned one time the name of my favorite cologne - next time we got together, he was wearing the fragrance- he liked it a lot
    2) Remembering a few tunes that I enjoy and they became part of the masseur’s playlist during my appointments
    3) Text reminders of upcoming appointments - just like the dentist, etc.
    4) Home-made cookies “to go” afterwards

    In no particular order...
A provider cooking for me or offering to cook for me.
Sending me a sweet or thoughtful message especially after our time to together.
Just being sweet affectionate and playful before during and after the encounter.
Thanking me for helping them out... by just making out. One provider I helped move some furniture. He didn't live too far from me. After we dropped the last piece of furniture off, he thanked me and kissed me. Which lead to a heavy make out session. That was all. it was awesome.
A provider, whom I met last year, offered to do a 3-day threesome (with his boyfriend) for the rate he asks for a solo 3-day meet up. This is at no additional charge... 2 for the cost of one. He says because he likes and trusts me. I was flattered.

You sound like MItt Romney. The vast majority of people like or are unfazed by tattoos, piercings and other body art.
This relentless obsession that some of you have with wanting physical perfection (which is, of course, entirely subjective) is a huge boner killer. It makes you sound completely out of touch with most human beings.

raife reacted to timj in Enzoy on RM - Visiting LA - BEWARE
I had the rare experience of having a very bad experience with a provider tonight. An erotic masseur on RentMasseur going by Enzoy.
The long and the short of it is that he actually hit me up on Grindr, said he'd like to top me among other things and to text him. When I did text him, it was a bait and switch. He's an erotic masseur and was offering his services. I said well, I love a good massage, but do you still want to make out and top? He said yes. So fuck it, it was a bait and switch, but his pix were cute. And as it had so happened, this was a guy I'd seen days ago on the RM platform. There was no ambiguity whatsoever. The terms were even more clear and graphic than I am being here. He sent me dick pics and told me he was into it. Halfway through on his massage table, he informs me it'll be an ADDITIONAL $200 bucks to do the things we had already discussed in detail and agreed to. I asked him to repeat himself and he did. I said well that's not what we agreed to, and I'm sorry but that doesn't work for me. And I got up and got dressed.
I have literally never posted a negative review on any platform about a provider. Until tonight. And I noticed that right under mine, another negative review with some similar plot points had appeared as well.  Enzoy wrote a bizarre and convoluted response to my review that didn't make a ton of sense, but I wanted to warn others away from this abject mess. It's not worth it. I dig a cute a Asian guy like this (although his pix are a little outdated as well), but I do not like a bait and switch. I suspect no one does. Avoid like the plague.

There are far more cute twink escorts advertising on RM in Istanbul than there are in either Montreal or Fort Lauderdale.  Charming twinks, nicely developing twunks, then slim muscular soccer players.  Wow!  Talk about Turkish delights!

If you’re only monetising your sex life it probably won’t work. Clients will see through that. You’ll need to offer more than “I’m available to get fucked”. Clients want to feel that you’re interested in their pleasure just as much as it’s fun for you. So I’d suggest if you can get that mindset and approach it will work sustainably.

raife reacted to big-n-tall in "ARE YOU INDEPENDENT OR THROUGH AN AGENT"?
There used to be a good number of escort agencies who would manage and send guys out to clients. Most of them are gone or aren’t as open about their existence. You still have guys acting as the managers/handlers/pimps for guys.
Some escorts aren’t great at scheduling and handling certain aspects of the finances. They’re willing to give up sone of their earnings for someone else to answer emails/take calls, schedule appointments, and deal with whatever else the provider can’t or doesn’t want to deal with.
There are even what I call finders. Guys who will put you in contact with guys who otherwise aren’t easily reachable or contactable. However, they only stick around for the initial contact. They take their finders fee and any subsequent meetings between the client and escort are between just those two.
I think managers were more prevalent in the past. Although they definitely still exist.

raife reacted to misterhumphries in Who chooses their sexual orientation?
There is no choosing sexuality; it simply is. For me, my choice was to accept that I am sexually interested only in men. I did not sit myself down and wonder: "Hmm.. What can I do to make my life that much more difficult and to feel ostracized?"
The very idea that sexuality is a choice is a step backwards that led to the gay reprogramming camps and religious groups who used to believe they could  pray the gay away. The DSM long-ago stopped classifying homosexuality as a mental disorder. Sexuality is biological, a genetic quirk.

"Europe" is a big place. Try using a public toilet in Ireland. You'll be stepping over hypodermic needles from the heroin addicts. In other countries, yes there are more outreach programs that limit the visibility of the problem but don't make the problem go away.
Most of what you SEE is a problem with our response (or lack, thereof) in dealing with mental illness. We used to institutionalize, then tossed them into the streets in the 80's after that was considered unjust. Then most of them got arrested and held in jail long past the normal judgement for the crime. Now Progressive cultural theory is "curing" that injustice by once again releasing the victim but spiraling back to the same problem with seriously mentally ill people wandering the streets ( until the end up back in jail again ). It's a real mess. And it's mostly about money. No civil authority wants to committ the money to caring for these people who have little ability to care for themselves.

Sad to hear, him being addicted or on drugs doesn’t take back the time he was kind to you.
I think we are not stupid here, guys are nice because we pay them. But not all are nice and kind. And you can feel when a guy is giving you more than his time. Are they kind because they want to get hired again? Maybe but who cares because what matter is the time we spend with them and if they are kind, we’re having a good time.
