So there probably isn't any real answer to this question.   I have had clients talk about "too many tats",  "not enough" and what they find just right on a provider.    I get clients that make recommendations.     Some tell me too much is a total turn off.     If you are a provider,  what do you hear from your cleints and do they like yours?    Do clients even expect tats on escorts?     If you are a client,  what do you like.    Just curious.

I'm fairly heavily tattooed.  My husband asked me never to get my chest tattooed.  I started noticing that most chest tattoos, in fact, don't look very good and I was glad that he had asked me not to tattoo my chest.  I love guys with tattoos, and I'm not saying I wouldn't hire a guy with a tattoed chest, but I do think that most chest tattoos don't look very good.  Small ones are OK.

I may be alone in my preferences … a few here and there are okay, but I find them (even one) terribly distracting if it’s located near “the goods”  like a row of stars arched over the pubes is a turnoff - difficult to concentrate on the work at hand.

Not a fan of tats that obscure key muscles like pecs, biceps, calves, delts etc.

Some guys can be covered in tattoos and look great and pull off the look. Others could have one or two designs that look subjectively bad. It's all one's preference. 

If there are any taboo locations for tattoos it would probably be the face, but even that I think is waning, as they are more accepted.

I have tattoo on one of my pecs, and love it. Once you get one, I definitely notice everyone else's tattoos to see if I like their design and placement.

As a client, I am not a big fan of tatoos but don't mind small ones.  A sleeve is okay if it's done right.  No big ones on the chest or any on the face or neck.  As @KrisParr said earlier, nothing near the "goods".

A large number of tats, however, are usually a sign that someone is from a low social background, or impulsive, so I scrutinize them a little more.

I don't really care if someone is tatted. The only time I kinda find it a turnoff is when someone is literally tatted almost every square inch of their body including their face. I'm also not a fan of face tattoos. However depending on how big it is and where on the face it's located, I can overlook it.

As I have mentioned elsewhere, the only men who look better wearing ink, to me, are on U.S. currency.

I don't care whether someone has tattoos or not; I honestly don't notice them unless they're interesting. I tend to prefer tattoos in my personal life because I think they're a cool way of expressing yourself. I can't relate to the view that it "ruins" the person's looks at all.

I personally am not a fan of tats that are overwhelming. I have seen great bodies ruined by too many of them. I am talking those that are neck to legs. A few are ok, but none are best, for me.

There are lots of reasons to get inked, not all of them down to impulsivity. I've got quite a few, all commemorating something and all carefully planned in advance.

I think they suit some people and that there's a big difference between a poorly executed tattoo, which will always look bad, and something artistic. 

As with everything, it really boils down to personal choice and taste.

I don’t doubt what you say, because either or both could be true: but I‘ve come across impulsive people without tattoos and people of higher social background than me (including clients) with tattoos. One guy I know is a neonatal nurse for a hospital (which is basically a baby doctor). I didn’t even know he had a huge back and a few other tattoos until we started fucking 😂

I occasionally hear some clients say they don’t like to hire guys with tattoos. I don’t necessarily feel complimented or advantageous, but I recognize that’s their preference and it’s fine by me. 

I personally like a tattooed man…and guys who have them catch my attention quick. I wish I had some myself, But I also think about guys like Cutler X and Adam Dexter (both Black, big dick porn stars) like myself 😜 who seemed to get plenty of ass without any…
 

I don’t think there should be any expectation. I think it’s as much of a choice as having a beard, or driving a luxury car (and both of those tend to either be: because you desire to OR because you’re trying to promote a status). Maybe someone needs to drive a luxury car because they need the reliable power to haul luggage up steep hills, and luxury when you pull up to prestigious client’s hotels.
 

I feel tattoos are simply a person’s personal expression, I don’t think it says anything more or less about the person. For a little while: I used to feel tattooed guys were all self-absorbed jerks, because I was meeting a lot like that at one point. But this past year: I met a really sweet and selfless guy with a tribal sleeve, another guy I’ve known for years who has a few: and he’s one of the most down to earth, selfless guys out there.
 

Then recently met a totally selfish guy with no tattoos. So…threw that notion out the window 🪟 lol

other thing too: temporary tattoos are becoming quite popular as well. Some guys who may have tattoos might not actually be “permanent”. I experimented with some myself for awhile: but the problem is: Americans are obsessed with something being “real”. Instead of just complimenting and appreciating a design, they have to be nosy and pry more. And I personally don’t like being related to anything “fake” or not real, because nothing about me is fake.

That said: a tattoo is on my bucket list: however, unless someone has a friend who is an artist that can offer them tattoo work: Ink can be expensive, and I just haven’t found a place in my life (or budget) to do that type of work. I tend to invest my money into clothes, car maintenance, jewelry, travel. Not that tattoos are less significant than those, but it’s just: those are my priorities. 

Plus the idea of having to nurse a wound. I know with tattoos there is a certain amount of that required. I routinely get bit, scraped, cut or jabbed by something doing my hobbies: (the other day I sliced the end of my thumb and didn’t even realize it until I felt a burning when washing my hands…and all I could think was: Hope I don’t have to give someone a massage today, even though I need the biz) 🤦🏾‍♂️

I don't have any myself, but I think that proper placement is essential.  Tattoos can either enhance or detract from physical attributes - if placed along the margin of muscles I find that they can add to the definition, as opposed to covering the muscle itself.  And I prefer tattoos to have some relation to each other, rather than being scattered willy-nilly and without any uniting theme.

Where have you been for the last 30 years?  My mother told me that when I was about 5 and I noticed that the most of the guys who ran the amusements at the county fair had tattoos.  Such is no longer the case.

Personally i don't mind most tattoos, as long as the artwork is good. The trend of long passages of text is weird in my opinion, but if it  isn't obtrusive I can ignore it.  The exception for me is when they're on the neck or face, it's too off-putting.

I love tattoos. I love them on me and I love them on other men as well, it's just hot.  I think with tattoos, it's all about placement and where you put each one on your body. All my tattoos I have "14 and counting" all mean something to me whether theres a deep meaning or just for fun. I've always gotten compliments on being a hairy guy with tattoos.

I'm not a fan of tattoos but can accept them as long as they aren't on the face, neck or hands or they aren't hideous. 

I'm also not a fan of facial hair, though that's so common now that I have come to appreciate nicely trimmed facial hair (and it even looks great on some men, particularly those with darker complexions).  I still find too much facial hair (i.e., a bushy beard) a huge turn-off.

I like muscular men and find that tattoos generally distract me from my major interest.  Tattoos which are scripts are definitely distracting as I feel compelled to read them. If I wanted to read, I would have brought a book along.  So given a choice, I would opt to have a man without tattoos.  However, a great body is meant to be savored by all the senses. Why deprived the other four and let vision always get its way.  As long as you can't feel, smell, taste or hear tattoos, if I guy has a great muscle body, then I am game.  Once we are interacting heavily, my eyes are closed quite a bit and when they are opened, lust focuses my attention on its source.  So the initially attraction is limited by the tattoos but as we get deeper into it, the tattoos fade.  

But given two choices, one with tattoos and one without , I would opt for the one with the best personality.  

I met a man and was interested in him until he revealed a large swazstika on his back.  There is no amount of beauty that could hide that ugliness.

I’m not a fan of tattoos, but if they’re small and discreet, then it’s okay for me. I hired a provider who had just one on his shoulder, and another who had one on his calf. Tattoos on hands, face, neck, sleeve tattoos are a turn-off for me.

The term "attractive tattoo" is an oxymoron.

Bozo would never hire an inked escort. Period.
First, I find tattoos to be hideous, repulsive, and low-class. Putting ink on a well-built physique is like throwing red paint on the Mona Lisa. It's defiling a work-of-art.
Second, Bozo would be embarrassed to have an escort with visible ink on his body come to his apartment or hotel room.

Anyone who thinks it is cool to get a tattoo in their 20's, 30's or even 40's, just wait for Mother Nature and the laws of gravity to take hold. The skin will sag and the tattoos will fade.
In a few years, it won't look cool. More like gross.

Here is some free advice to anyone who feels the need to express themselves or memorialize an event in their life by desecrating their body with ink: Take a photo. It is much cheaper, it will last longer, and it can always be deleted.
