No.

I'm telling then THEIR business model isn't EVERYONE'S business model.

Huge difference.

I did already know that. I’m glad it isn’t everyone’s model (that’s an extreme) because I don’t want the competition!

You don’t seem to value providers beyond their ability to impress you physically and ragdoll under you for a steamy session.

Dude, if you're going address me, then you should first READ the thread thoroughly, before you put on your bitchy shoes. *SEE BELOW* statement bumped forward for your consideration.

As I stated, I DO admire people who can fuck anything that moves. It's a real talent. And a true gift for people who were born unfortunate in the looks department or gentlemen who have let themselves go over the years.

Oh ? 🤔 You commented that Grindr hook ups are selfish and that only a hook up with a professional escort would get anyone the satisfaction they deserved.

so...if you're not using Grindr where did you get that impression ?

‘Are selfish’ - an extreme.

’only a hookup’ - an extreme.

You’re misrepresenting comments by making them extreme and binary so that you can argue the opposite and cause conflict. I see what you’re doing and I feel foolish for falling for it. So let me say this - actually I totally agree with you. You’re 100% right in everything you say.

Well...no. I'm not. I am simply defending my point and questioning your rebuttal.

I will say this to you @Jamie21 I DO admire people with your talent to look beyond a person's looks and see their worth in their personality. I think few men are capable of that sort of kindness. I'm sure you're a very sweet fellow and I'm also sure you have a very solid following of gentlemen. I hope they all cherish you. Not everyone is so blessed.

There was nothing bitchy about my statement. I’m merely observing what you yourself have said many times before.

Since you called me bitchy, does that mean I get to call you shallow and myopic?

Cherry pick all you want. Your way is not the way, not even the best way so maybe kick off your self-righteous “shoes” and stop commenting every time someone brings up appearance. We’re all WELL aware of where you stand.

@Jamie21, if I were you, I’d move on. It’s like playing chess with a pigeon. The pigeon struts all over the board, knocking over the pieces without any concern or a shred of understanding, and shits all over everything in the end. What do you have? Nothing but a shitty chessboard and neither of you had a chance at “winning” – yet the pigeon thinks he had a good time!

It wasn’t always the way. I used to be very looks oriented. Then I started to do this sex work and making porn, and I learned that once you got over the initial looks attraction there’s a lot more to sexual attraction than looks. I think it’s about attitude and confidence plus stuff I really can’t describe (if I knew what it was I’d bottle it!). So I think it’s a learned skill. You probably need a bit of an aptitude for it of course but I’m sure it can be learned.

I really don't think you DO.

Because more than one person has responded to me as if I'm saying that everyone should be picky.

I'm not.

I'm merely saying that there is absolutely nothing wrong with an escort being picky with who they want to serve.  And there's nothing wrong with vetting customers.

Simple.

You don't need to agree..

Ha ha there’s shit everywhere…sounds like the time I hadn’t douched properly 😳😳😳. Seriously though I guess it’s not about winning and losing. It’s just about opinions!

Oh don’t worry. I don’t agree.

You push my buttons but you’re fun.

I’ll remember you fondly as I’m admonishing my next masseur to not grimace quite so obviously while tending to me. 🤣

If certain providers would vet their client's then there would be no grimace.

Others, as @Jamie21mentioned are seasoned professionals and talented at finding a head-space where looks don't matter.

Men are visual creatures. That's why the best designers are MEN, not women. It's in our blood to focus on the best and beautiful.

At some point, people have expressed their opinions and it’s time to move on. No matter how many ways you state it, some people won’t ever understand your opinion let alone agree. I find in those instances it’s best to move on!

My! How this thread has deviated from the topic at hand. It seems a typical participant in derailed threads is involved again!

I am arriving late to the party! I used to provide my stats, and sometimes my photo, whether or not the provider asked for it. I always thought that it is just fair to provide at least a vague image of he could be meeting, after I assessed (countless sometimes) of his pictures and even videos.

In my last hirings I implemented a new policy that solved this issue. I stopped hiring without a videoconference to verify pictures and close the deal.

How have providers responded to that request? I would love to implement it to clear out the catfish swimming about but I wonder if it’s viewed negatively.

I'm wondering if others share unsolicited pictures and stats with their provider prior to meeting. I always do and I do it out of common courtesy, thinking it is only fair that if I know what the provider looks like along with their stats, then they should know what I look like and my stats.

I have never had a provider ask for pictures/stats yet I always provide prior to meeting.

Only if requested, and rarely they have requested a picture. I was requested a picture of my face "for safety reasons". I agreed, but I have never volunteered my info prior to the encounter and never had a problem (on my side, at least, can't speak for the provider's side).

I like reading the providers' perspective. It's always good to listen their side.

Overwhelmingly positively. Some are reluctant, afraid of dealing with a client trying to jerk off for free, but kind reassurance has been enough to overcome their resistance. I make clear that I only expect to show our faces during the VC.

A few ones refused, and I took my businesses to someone else.

I offer to schedule free phone and video consultations for clients seriously considering hiring me. I try to make it clear that we’re not having phone sex or a nude jerk-off cam show on the house. These calls are useful and efficient for me to get a feel for what the client wants and mostly for the client to verify I’m a good fit for their needs.

Consultations inspire confidence and mutual trust. As long as the client is respectful toward me and the boundaries of this type of call, everything works out pretty well. I don’t particularly care what the client sounds like or looks like, but it’s nice to establish some rapports. Chemistry and mutual understanding matter more.
