It appears that your operating model doesn’t work? Although I guess you might come back with examples of times when it does work of course….
But I’d suggest that if it doesn’t work > 80% of the time then it’s not effective and you need to change something. The world won’t change to suit you; you have to change to fit the world. I don’t travel so I’m not going to offer any ideas except to say that if I book a hotel room (I use them for filming) then I use DayUse which provides rooms by the hour. Usually at affordable rates and at convenient times.

I'm not "touring", but I like @Shawn Monroe 's idea of booking an extra full night even if you don't intend to stay that last night......being able to entertain guests clear thru that afternoon and evening, even if you plan to pack up and go somewhere down the road at 6, 8, or10pm, would be one less worry.......
and the 'grievances' you list about hotel policy, @Jarrod_Uncut , are standard operating procedure for most hotels......you suggest, for example, that you don't like to wake up early and are then rushed to pack your several bags minutes before check-out......not the hotel's fault!!.......you may want to inquire (at check-in) if a half-day charge is available with a 4pm or 6pm check-out........
the suggestions to join hotel rewards clubs and/or get a credit card with hotel loyalty perks are good ones......sounds like you already do this to some extent......
and please don't suggest a hotel employee is a "bitch" with whom to go "ape shit"....(I know you didn't say that to her face, I assume).......unprofessional and selfish!

I don’t care what their physical appearance is. Most clients don’t disclose what they look like and I don’t ask but I’d guess around 20% send a description and a handful send a picture. In my experience clients are accurate in their description if they offer it.

I'm old enough to remember that when someone wanted to commemorate an important event, they'd send a telegram. Even though they could just as easily (or more easily) make a phone call. The telegram represented importance and status, and would often be read out loud at a gathering such as a wedding.
Perhaps the MadMen campaign (or likely a similar one in real life) worked its magic into the public consciousness!

Regardless how well-built, well-hung, handsome, and/or desirable/attractive a provider is, I have to use ED meds in order to get an erection and have required such since the late 1990's (when I was in my early- to mid-thirties). Given that, I have absolutely no issue with a provider doing the same.

If it's not brought up by the client during our exchange about getting together, I always make it a point to ask: "Is there any particular way you'd like me dressed?"
The answers go from mild to wild, to "I didn't see THAT coming!"

More of an escort than a masseur here so maybe it’s different.

But I love getting that kind of a direction from a client.  Especially on a first meeting.  Gives me a real sense of what he’s about and what gets him off.

The question is not whether we like it or not, but about whether standard etiquette is moving away from phone calls without a heads-up being socially acceptable. I tend not to accept calls from unknown numbers now, but generally will accept them if I know who the caller is. Even then I'll decline if I can't conveniently take the call. Those of us who are in the dinosaur community need to be aware of what current social norms are for calls even if we can ignore them among ourselves!.

The advantage of a hire vs a hookup is you can be more direct if you’d like. He’s there to provide you a service, on your terms. If he walks in the door and you want to jump his bones right then and there, you can do it! Or if you want to take it slow, chat and maybe have a drink first, that’s your call too. You don’t need to be too worried about what he might think the way you might with a hookup.

Of course don’t be a jerk since he’s a person too, but don’t be afraid to ask for what you’d like.

I completely understand @cromagnonmale’s concerns and they’re valid. This is a whole new age of surveillance technology which enables ridiculous moral witch hunts.
For me, it’s too late to “opt out” as it were by omitting or obscuring my face, and I don’t trust the for-profit surveillance companies contracted by law enforcement to respect my privacy. Since when has “please take me off your call list” stopped the calls from a specific company? So I give up and deal with it the best ways I can.
I also validate the points @Ali Gator and @MikeBiDudemake. If I were on the other side of hiring, I would never even notice, much less bother to contact a provider that didn’t show a face pic or other parts of his body in which I am most interested.
I get the point about the tattoos, but remember that the presence or absence and type of tattoos matters A LOT to some clients. We’ve had some pretty hot, divisive threads on that subject. Others care little, if at all, and I venture to bet that’s 50% or more, with the extremes making up the other piece of the pie.
I feel it’s reasonable to share face or other photos privately with prospective clients by text or app or wherever you’re communicating. What do you think?
