HeyMan999 Posted Friday at 04:49 PM Posted Friday at 04:49 PM A lot of the guys who put hiv negative and on prep is apparently the way of saying they have hiv and taking medication. Ask the guys you meet to see a test or you can give guys a rapid hiv test. So many guys are lying on those sites so take care of yourself! If you can have sex with a guy and pay, it shouldn’t be a problem to ask to see or take a hiv test! You’ll be surprised what you might find out……… + Vegas_Millennial and MikeBiDude 2

A viral load test would show negative for the guys who have HIV and have it under control through medication, same as it would for the guy or girl who has never had it. The term "undetectable" means just that. So it makes sense that guys would put HIV negative and on Prep when they would, in fact, test negative for it and are, in fact, on the same medication as Prep. HeyMan999 Posted Friday at 07:15 PM Author Posted Friday at 07:15 PM (edited) There’s a lot of idiots on this site….I’m sorry to say it but yea. Do you have hiv and put you down as negative too? You can’t do that but okay. You are either hiv poz or negative……stupid. Keep living in the clouds like some of you……..I’m staying on earth. Anyone who puts they are negative when they know they aren’t are the scum of the earth. Nothing will change my mind. I don’t care if you are on medication and “undetectable”…….I even know someone who does the same thing and he flat out told me “guys don’t tell the truth on what they have..so why should I? They are dumb enough to pay so it doesn’t affect me much”……..some of you are getting played! Edited Friday at 07:40 PM by HeyMan999

You’ll be surprised what you might find out……… I think you are basically suggesting that one term may be used on platforms as shorthand for a different one and you think it is objectionable. It’s plausible in some contexts that it may be adopted to avoid, for example, stigma or some other real disadvantage. Your public service announcement is not our first rodeo. Yet the limits of PrEP, when HIV seroconversion occurs and can be known by stakeholders, rapid tests, etc, present in such a way that opinion is divided on such shorthand manoeuvres. The limits of such shorthand are based on TasP limits, for example, not knowing about viral load that is not U, not below the standard limit of quantification. Viral load at point of high-risk sexual interaction is not always easily known at every point following diagnosis and treatment; pre-diagnosis could spike prior to the antibody production that would trigger seropositivity … “window” period. The actual truth is always ‘out there’ in spite of health protection intentionality given whatever sexual interaction plays out. Behave accordingly, triangulating HIV medical knowledge with those aspects of partner deets that are important to you and “knowable”, and associated open trust-focused dynamics. You are 99% wrong. A viral load test? May become “undetectable”, but…. An HIV antibody test? It’s extremely unlikely to ever seroconvert back to negative after it’s turned positive. There are case reports of children and people fully suppressed for many years who have converted their HIV antibody tests back to negative, but it’s extremely rare. Hence the 1% exception to the rule. And if that person ever stops their meditations, both tests will rapidly re-convert to positive. The HIV virus is either inside your body, or it isn’t. Trying to create shades of grey to produce a false sense of security in others is wrong and deceitful. If asked, declare your status as best you can, and let the other person decide the risks they are or aren’t willing to take with that information. NJF, jeezifonly, Luv2play and 5 others 4 4
Luv2play Posted yesterday at 12:15 AM Posted yesterday at 12:15 AM I met one provider a couple of years ago who had neg on PreP on his RM ad but when I questioned him admitted he was pos and on medication that made him undetectable. He had been a pornstar 10 years earlier and had barebacked with some of the biggest names in the industry. He removed his ad about 3 months later. + SidewaysDM 1
jeezifonly Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM Posted yesterday at 01:28 AM Neg on Prep means has been tested and has not tested positive for exposure so far. "On prep" does not include disclosure of dose compliance. Poz Undetectable means at least one test has returned positive for exposure, treatment remains ongoing with success, keeping viral load super low, backed up with regular tests required to remain on meds. Either partner will be low risk to take loads from, with regard to HIV. The gamble is "truth in advertising" is not enforced in the Paid Companion industry. If looking to take a load from a stranger, be armed with trust in your partner's truthfulness . + nycman, + SidewaysDM, + Vegas_Millennial and 2 others 1 1 2 1
+ SirBillybob Posted yesterday at 02:59 AM Posted yesterday at 02:59 AM Seroconversion is a one-way biological event. Any subsequent absence of antibodies would typically be termed HIV remission. jeezifonly 1
