Only doing outcalls...

Hey folks!

Long time no see! I haven't been on here in a few years - took a break after COVID and started a 9–5.

I’m looking to get back into the business in the new year here in Toronto. Only thing is, I can only do outcalls since I live with a roommate.

Clients, is it a turn-off when a provider can only do outcalls? (And providers, feel free to chime in too!)

if I am traveling and staying with friends or family and can't host, I use dayuse.com to hire a hotel room for a few hours. most of my clients are in calls by a big margin.

It’s a few more hoops, but I can usually work around it.  If you have the $ to hire, you usually can find a decent hotel in a nearby city. Plus even if you live in the same city, folks will grab a hotel room for a variety of reasons.  It’s not that weird.

Fair enough, I've done only outcalls before; a bit tougher but it can be done. I will be going by the same name, unless its taken  (which I'll update my information with of course)

I’m not able to host either, and it’s definitely a challenge. Most clients want incalls. As @SecretProvider suggests, I also use Dayuse for incalls when needed. 

An advantage of Dayuse is I can choose a hotel that’s convenient for the client. This works really well for meeting clients in the South Bay.

I personally prefer to hire escorts for out calls.

I live alone and outcalls - in the comfort of my home - are preferred. I recognize that many clients - married men - have limited outcall options.  If I’m traveling, in the comfort of my hotel.

If all things are equal, I usually prefer to host an outcall at my place for escorts.  I like going to a masseur’s place if he has a table or dedicated space for massage.  

I was disappointed earlier this year when I was going to be in a city for a few free hours but not have a place to really stay or host while I was there.  I spotted a good looking ad and then realized that person was outcall only.  So, I had to skip that one.

My husband and I prefer to host. I'm not familiar with Toronto but we live in Brooklyn so some escorts don't want to travel to us, but enough are willing to do so.

When in traveling I prefer my hotel. When home I prefer his place.

I think the key is to just be upfront in your ad "I cannot host". 

FWIW Back in the days before I could host (which I prefer now) and neither could the provider, I would never assume it was the provider's responsibility to secure a room - I took care of it - and this was way before Dayuse.

I do that now also.  The providers I see travel 90 minutes to see me, so I kind of feel like that is a fair exchange.

Dayuse is a huge help in setting things up, but weekends can be dicey as sometimes the hotels don't have rooms available.

100% I had that on my previous ads in the past. Now I learnt what Dayuse is now, I'll be using it haha! It was never an issue for the most part; but I did turn away few clients who wanted longer experiences in the past simply bc I only did outcalls.

It's not a turn-off, just a disappointment.  I can't host, but I certainly respect a provider's inability to host.

If I'm traveling (which I would be in Toronto), I prefer to host at my hotel.  If I'm home here in NYC, I look for providers who can host for the sake of convenience.   I also don't want to book a room on dayuse, but I'm happy to reimburse a provider for the booking.  My current regular books a room on dayuse for our sessions and his (elevated) fee covers the cost of it.  Apart from the added cost, this is as convenient as an in-call.

It’s not a turnoff, just an obstacle.  I can only do incall and the cost of getting a local hotel room on top of whatever the provider’s fee and transportation are aren’t worth it.
