Recommended Posts

Hey providers - long time first time here.

I was watching last week tonite where they talked about some of the measures like FOSTA were intended to curb sex trafficking but makes the job riskier actually.

so i was curious what resources do you use to check out someone when you are reached out to? Are there sites or apps or somethung where yall can run info thru?

It's not like female escorting where there is (often) screening. Male escorts just have to take a chance. They can try googling a phone number or asking personal questions. I've heard there's a site where bad client numbers are posted as well. But with google voice and other paid apps anyone can constantly change phone numbers.

I use usphonebook.com and whitepages.com to look up prospective clients' names, ages, and any criminal records, and if I can verify a name then I look through linkedin and Facebook...I kind of shouldn't verify with social media anymore because if I see something they posted that I don't like, I will refuse to meet the client...it also sucks to get excited about meeting a certain client but he's not the person I see on Facebook even though he has the same name and is in the same city, or he's sharing a family plan. LOL

One client told me that masseurs wouldn't respond to him and I guessed that was because he had the same name as his father but his father's age showed up on the websites I mentioned above, so he was rejected by those of us that don't want to service men in that age range.

There are some inaccurate information from us phone book recently. It used to be reliable but nowadays the name and address is not accurate anymore.

There’s a site you can use to check problem numbers. Here in UK there’s also a site (national ugly mugs) that helps provide resources to sex workers to protect themselves including sending out warnings about threatening clients.

Have you ever seen this?

Blacklisted Clients - Bad guys database - CheckPunter
