moonlight Posted Tuesday at 05:42 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:42 AM (edited) Say a provider's hourly rate is $400. Given that, what do you think a client can expect on average to pay for 2, 3, and 4 hour sessions? I know there's a lot of variability but I don't really have a good sense of what's typical in this case, so thanks for any input. Edited Tuesday at 05:45 AM by moonlight
moonlight Posted Tuesday at 06:16 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 06:16 AM I recently hired for a 4 hour session. Guy asked me how much I could offer and without thinking I just offered 4x his hourly rate. Afterward, I realized.... wait, that's more than people pay for an overnight... Thus this thread. Dude got what we agreed and I had a good time. But I'd like to be better informed for next time. Obviously, negotiation is not my strong suit. Lesson learned. And I realize now too that him asking me first was a red flag.

My second hour is 15% less than the first hour. I don’t publish rates longer than 2 hours but the % reduction would be about the same. It really depends on the set up and my willingness to do a longer session. I generally am not keen to do multiple hours so I’d price it accordingly. I had one guy ask me for my rate for a 4 hour booking. I gave him a number. He divided that by 4, came up with an hourly rate….and then asked to book just an hour. Smart. Of course I said ‘sorry it doesn’t work like that, the first hour is more expensive’ so he said ‘ok I’ll book just the 4th hour then please’ 😳 Edited Tuesday at 06:30 AM by Jamie21 mike carey, rvwnsd, + Pensant and 13 others 1 15
moonlight Posted Tuesday at 07:48 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 07:48 AM Ha. Sounds like a clear cut case of 'block and move on' 🫣

But it didn’t happen…he was window shopping…‘please send pics etc’. I send one (despite there being lots on my advertising), it goes quiet then ‘got any more?’ 🙄 + Vegas_Millennial 1
+ purplekow Posted Tuesday at 08:40 AM Posted Tuesday at 08:40 AM Clearly for an escort the first hour is the most expensive. There is the time and cost involved in getting to meet the client or to prepare for the session. There is no such cost for the second hour. There is the risk of meeting for the first time that goes down as long as the client is not totally bizarre in the first hour of the session and usually with a multi-hour session there is more down time unless the client is a marathon man. So there should be some consideration. I contacted an escort recently and he replied with no comments just a price list. The list included a one hour rate, full day rate and a weekend rate. When I asked about 2 hours he said it would be twice the one hour rate. I replied that he should enjoy his time in Palm Springs. Two hours later he contacted me and said there could be a discount. This was two weeks before the meeting. We agreed but eventually he was noncommittal and it became impossible to nail him....down to an exact time. I moved on and he made not further overtures. I hope he enjoyed his time here. Luv2play 1
+ KensingtonHomo Posted Tuesday at 12:38 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:38 PM We generally don't hire beyond 2 hours. But often a provider will discount the second hour. So if their rate is $300/hour, they'll do 2 for $500. + ApexNomad, + DrownedBoy, + Pensant and 1 other 1 3
+ poolboy48220 Posted Tuesday at 01:20 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:20 PM Biggest discount in my experience was $300 for the first hour, $150 for the second. Luv2play and moonlight 1 1
Solution + JamesB Posted Tuesday at 02:53 PM Solution Posted Tuesday at 02:53 PM Extra hours usually come at a discount. For example, if the first hour is $300, two hours often go for around $500, and three hours land somewhere between $600–$700. That said, I’ve noticed some providers, especially masseurs, set rates that don’t really add up. Sometimes a 90-minute session costs more than 1.5 times their 60 minute rate. I take that as a pretty clear sign they’d rather stick to shorter sessions. Danny-Darko 1
Gilfson Posted Tuesday at 05:07 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:07 PM Yeah mine is 300 for first hour 200 for each hour after. Which from speaking to others have found to be pretty average Danny-Darko, mike carey, + KensingtonHomo and 1 other 4
+ DrownedBoy Posted Tuesday at 09:27 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:27 PM I've seen guys who ask for 350 easily accept 500 for two hours. When they give their hourly rate, immediately give a larger number and ask if they'll accept that for two hours. That's a good sell, and as mentioned, the second hour has little marginal cost for providers. + KensingtonHomo and MikeBiDude 1 1

BuffaloKyle Posted Tuesday at 11:42 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:42 PM I've also seen a lot of guys recently be ok with 90 min if you can't decide between one or two hours. One guy quoted me 300 for one hour, 500 for two. I said how about 400 for 90 min and he said sure. moonlight and + KensingtonHomo 2

I like 90 min sessions with a new provider since I find 1 hour too short but want to avoid 2 hours if the session is not going well. I find though that some will agree to. 90 minute session but at 450 if the first hour is 300. You were lucky I think to get it for 400. Yeah i've mostly been dealing with guys who charge the same rate every hour and i've been really appreciating these guys who offer 90 minutes lately. 1 hour usually feels just short enough that the session feels a little rushed or i can feel the time ticking by. I can kinda become aware of the provider hitting their beats/cues ya know? 2 hours often leaves me with about 30-40 minutes where i need to just talk/hangout with the provider (which, depending on the provider i don't necessarily want that from them lol) or i just leave early leaving time/money on the table. So 90 minutes usually is just right for me unless it's a provider i have good rapport with and can enjoy the chill time with them after the exciting part is done. Similar to what some others have stated here. A new guy I'm about to try soon quoted me 300 for first hour and 150 each hour after that. If he performs how i hope he does he's going to shoot up to the top of my regulars list 😆 moonlight, BuffaloKyle and + DrownedBoy 3

Yes, I had resisted the temptation to comment on that. In the grocery store, it's normal for larger packs of a product to cost less per 100g than smaller ones, and noone calls that a discount. Not all professional services work that way, but some, say tradesmen, have a call-out fee or charge for at least one hour even for a quick repair (or whatever it is).
Thelatin Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago 4 hours anymore is like ordering a large pizza - I’m in the 1/2 sandwich cup of soup lane these days. Unless there is a pool and party favors.
