I always sleep naked. When I get up, I don't put on underwear but pyjamas. I put on my underwear only when I go out. Since I stay at home most of time during the pandemic, I often don't wear underwear for a few days in row.

To clean out the closets I was going to clean out when the pandemic started two years ago.

About every six-nine months I need to have some Popeye’s chicken - spicy.  I love it while I’m eating it and hate myself the next several days.  6-9 months later, I’ve forgotten all the bad stuff and crave it all over again.

I find this thread to be a really interesting exchange of views.
My planning ahead is piecemeal. It mainly consists of having a much younger partner and deciding 20 years ago to move into an expensive but very full-service building in a very good location. Within a short walk, we have tennis courts and a swimming pool, grocery stores, gyms, theatres etc. I have good help in that I’ve 2 drivers I use regularly and a physiotherapist I see weekly.
My planning was influenced by my parents’ refusal to plan ahead. Both are now dead, having lived until their mid-90s and outlived their friends. I was able to dissuade them (when in their early 80s) from moving into an apartment but rather to go into a swanky assisted living complex. Both were astounded to find on moving in that they were the oldest residents! They enjoyed and used the facilities. After my father’s death, my mother used to go out 2x weekly for lunch and a shopping trip with another widow. Luckily both my parents had ‘good deaths’ after brief illnesses. 
 
 
 

That's absurd. I just looked on GoodRx and generic sildenafil is 30 100mg tablets are $14.89 at Costco, or $15-25 at local grocery store pharmacies.

I haven't answered but you have to understand that many years ago there were multitudes of hustler bars and hustler areas with very low rates and on a weekend day you could easily see a couple a day. Naples in DC would have 20 or 30 at a time, so would the park by it, and so would 3 or 4 other strip/hustler bars in town and on weekends Naples and the Trailways next door were full of Marines from Camp LeJeune. 100 a year (2 a week with Christmas off) was certainly not high for the average client in the 70's and 80's.

Has he actually taken any steps to "turn his life around"? You may find yourself in a position of being an enabler to his bad habits.

My mother always wore the perfume Joy by Jean Patou. I bought many bottles for her over the years. She died 13 years ago and I keep her last bottle on my dresser. Every now and then, when I miss her, I open the bottle for a sniff occasionally putting a drop on my wrist if I’m not leaving the house. I feel her presence every time. It’s nice. 

That can also be said for many other members.  But as long as I choose to participate, i'll suspend my gut belief and just accept everyone at face value.

A more practical approach if you want to have sex with someone you have never met before, best to trust but verify. If they claim to be neg, ask to see their last test result. If pos undetectable, ask to see their last test result. It's really that simple. 
Responsible people who engage in sex with multiple partners need to be upfront and be prepared to back up their claims. It's the same with COVID.
