Interesting. With so many choices/potential responses, however, the results are really hard to take in on a mobile device- which is the only way I access the forum. Admittedly, there aren't many responses yet, though.

Started the hobby in my early 30s, around Y2K. I was prolific in the first decade. 😉

My hobbying has waned in recent years, but covid is not the reason for the loss of interest. Only one session in 2021. I do have someone on my radar, and if travel circumstances coincide between us, there will be a second session before year end.

Wow. First of all, I'm surprised that I'm not the only one who had his first hire when he was below 21 (I was 18 when I hired my first escort). So far, two of us have clicked the 'below 21' option and I'd be very interested to know who the other person is (though they may not wish to say for reasons of anonymity).  I honestly thought I was the only person in this whole forum to have hired an escort when I was so young.

And someone has clicked that they've been hiring for '46 - 50 years'. That's amazing.

That would be me.  I hired my first escort when I was 19 years old.  I was a closeted, horny teenager in 1981 and didn't have resources like today.  The internet (as we know it today) wasn't even a thought at the time.  There was a classified ad in the back of Philadelphia Magazine for a male escort with a telephone number.  You called and actually talked to someone.  Remember what that was like?  I went solely based on the description he provided of himself.  Quite honestly, at that point in my life and being as horny and frustrated as I was, it didn't matter.  My requirements were that he had a pulse,  breathed, and cast a shadow.  I think it was $60 for an hour.  As it turned out, he had a "stable" of young men who worked for him.  I eventually met one of them who was a year and a half older than me.  We repeated a couple times before "cutting out" the middle man.  Long story short, we became friends and dated for a while.  I didn't hire again until December, 2019.

Yeah. I caught the disclosure that the responses would be public when I completed it. That startled me at first, TBH, but then I didn't see it easily displayed. So, I poked around and figured out how.

I haven't answered but you have to understand that many years ago there were multitudes of hustler bars and hustler areas with very low rates and on a weekend day you could easily see a couple a day. Naples in DC would have 20 or 30 at a time, so would the park by it, and so would 3 or 4 other strip/hustler bars in town and on weekends Naples and the Trailways next door were full of Marines from Camp LeJeune. 100 a year (2 a week with Christmas off) was certainly not high for the average client in the 70's and 80's.

No wonder you love Czech boys they are accommodating when it comes to prize.

All my life I preferred quality over quantity but maybe it's just me. 100 a year even by discount rates is still a big budget.

well, that is the Marines . Army guys in Wrightstown, NJ, near Forth Dix usually stayed with the same guy all weekend, or went to New York City

38 years between hires.  That is probably the biggest gap between hires.  Welcome back into this game

It's not that many if the person is older and has been hiring for decades. If someone has been hiring for over 40 years, that comes to less than one per month. When I haven't been attached, I usually hire at least at that rate.

This is a fun poll. Thank you for starting it, @JoeMendoza. I started hiring when I was 30-31, and in my first decade in NYC, I was extremely prolific, making up for lost time. Then, I used to hire 4 to 5 times a week, mostly different boys. I even became a “sampler” for an agency: the owner used to send me his new recruits to test for half-price, without their knowledge, of course. That was paradise for my very horny hormones. 
 

Later on, when I moved to Europe,  I did slow down a bit, but I still often did slutty weekends, with 5 to 6 different guys: overnight Friday (1), morning and afternoon Saturday (2 and 3); overnight Saturday (4), and morning and afternoon Sunday (5 and 6). Crazy, I know, but so much fun! Those usually took place in London or Amsterdam, where the abundance of working boys is well known.

In more recent years, when I lived in Prague, I resumed my frantic activity, and I hired quite a good number of providers. Of course, age takes its toll, and I sometimes needed some “chemical help” in the form of wonderful blue or yellow pills to keep it up (pun intended). 

That is how I was able to estimate that in my long (30+ years) and very active “hiring career” I have met at least around 800+ boys.
