maybe not the correct location for this topic. was briefly an accidental provider at Rounds in the late 80's. as well as the Gaiety. Miss those places. Was young with long blond hair and impressionable and desirable as a top. lol.
 

I recall my dad sitting me down for "the talk" but can't remember anything about what he said. By then we'd already had sex education at school, so I told him that and our talk was very short.
The sex ed was in 6th grade and was the typical things of boys in one room, girls in the other. We boys were shown a dated film that went over the various things that would be changing. I remember a diagram of a man that mentioned that hair would be sprouting in various places, and then little circles popped up around the pubes and arm pits. Afterwards, we talked about it on the playground. The part about nighttime emissions sort of scared me, and I remembered telling a friend I hope it just comes out when I'm peeing instead. Clearly the film didn't do a 100% job of explaining things!
As a teen, one day I was with mom walking our dog, and we saw a couple of duck mating. The male duck jumped on the female, bang bang bang and then it was over in probably ten seconds. My mom said to me, "you'll want to take more time than that."

We replaced our old gas gravity heater with a heat pump a few years ago. Agreed, so easy to use and effective, and now we have A/C as well. Same as a lot of people here, 62 at night, 67 first thing in morning, and 65 the rest of the day. 72 during the day in the summer. 

Though @FreshFluff you’re getting me pondering that overnight temperature! I’ve lowered the thermostat to 60 tonight to see how it is.

Yes, forget LAX, Burbank or Ontario, particularly if you're returning Monday morning. The Coachella festival is the same weekend, and the Monday traffic jam heading back towards LA is legendary.
If for some reason PSP isn't working for you, the only suggestion I'd have is fly into San Diego and rent a car. You'll still get into some traffic but nothing like the traffic going in and out of LA. And the route over the mountain from Temecula to Palm Desert is beautiful and fun to drive if you're in a sports car.

You might consider adding a link to your advertisement if you have one.  That may spark some interest in a more privat meeting during the time you are in PS, unless it is a non working trip.

MAL is an event which can only be understood in attending.  No written word can quite describe the debauchery which one might encounter  and or participate in doing.  I attended about 5 of these Forum Mettups including the first one at Annies for Brunch.  The weather was actually quite nice and the the fellowship was refreshing.  The others I attended were always a fun weekend but the number of attendees waxed and waned.  I was one that tried to Nate to get it off the ground again in 2022 without success.  
Some of us recall the most scandalous and controversial occurrence in all the forum meetings occurring during an early MAL meeting.  Ah the drama.  It had everything one could want in a scandal and there was a substantial hold over after the weekend was over.  Do not contact me for details, because unlike other orifices of other people that weekend, my lips are sealed.  
 
 

For those who are not familiar with it, this was a gathering of forum members coinciding with MAL and the MLK weekend. It was originally organized by a very active member of this forum so that he could meet other East Coast members. It started with just a brunch at Annie's, then expanded to include a visit to the Secret's strip club, a happy hour at MAL, and some other events here and there. I think it reached its pinnacle about 10 or 12 years ago, with perhaps around 30 people attending.
The original organizers are no longer participating in this forum, so over the years since various people (including me) have jumped in to organize it. The last time was an attempt for the 2022 weekend, but at that time we were still coming out of the pandemic and there was only a handful of people expressing interest in attending. Then DC implemented masking restrictions in response to a winter Covid spike, and we called it off.
Interest had been waning in recent years, particularly once Secret's closed. For me, the visit to Secret's was a big highlight, and I expect it was for others too. But the most common complaint was it's just too damn cold in DC in January, so thanks but no thanks. And traveling during the winter is not fun.
I think it was great at its prime, but at least in my opinion has played itself out. Of course some may have other opinions!

You all can stay in California and the South Hemisphere, weather sensitive bitches. We are not so cold in DC.

It appears that your operating model doesn’t work? Although I guess you might come back with examples of times when it does work of course…. 
But I’d suggest that if it doesn’t work > 80% of the time then it’s not effective and you need to change something. The world won’t change to suit you; you have to change to fit the world. I don’t travel so I’m not going to offer any ideas except to say that if I book a hotel room (I use them for filming) then I use DayUse which provides rooms by the hour. Usually at affordable rates and at convenient times.

I'm not "touring", but I like @Shawn Monroe 's idea of booking an extra full night even if you don't intend to stay that last night......being able to entertain guests clear thru that afternoon and evening, even if you plan to pack up and go somewhere down the road at 6, 8, or10pm, would be one less worry.......
and the 'grievances' you list about hotel policy, @Jarrod_Uncut , are standard operating procedure for most hotels......you suggest, for example, that you don't like to wake up early and are then rushed to pack your several bags minutes before check-out......not the hotel's fault!!.......you may want to inquire (at check-in) if a half-day charge is available with a 4pm or 6pm check-out........
the suggestions to join hotel rewards clubs and/or get a credit card with hotel loyalty perks are good ones......sounds like you already do this to some extent......
and please don't suggest a hotel employee is a "bitch" with whom to go "ape shit"....(I know you didn't say that to her face, I assume).......unprofessional and selfish!
