Is anyone else noticing a drop in escort pricing?

$ 100 per person is moderately expensive for MANHATTAN, and my wife and I DO drink. Generally speaking, we spend $ 75 per person including a glass of wine for each.  There are a lot of Brazilians (our young friend included) who see the luxury lifestyle and think they "deserve" it, so they pretend they are part of that lifestyle, and seek out gentlemen with thick wallets and desperate personalities. I know of a few Instagram models who have found themselves a rich sugar daddy, after selling their hole for a year or two. So it IS attainable (for a period) for some of the special guys who offer an experience to be with an exceptionally attractive model. I think @Braziliancutee is confusing THIS business model with the standard industry expectations of charging $ 300 to cum in their ass with a bunch of clients weekly, so they can pay their $ 3500 rent on a studio in Hells Kitchen, and eat out at Five Guys.

I am still waiting u answer me about if u could live with the salary from the middle class of Brazil

I'm confused by the back and forth on this issue.  I have never met with anyone, but I understand that donation amounts have increased in most places, especially since the pandemic.  And the cost of living has gone up in many places as well.  So it is understandable that donation amounts would also increase - providers can command whatever donation amount a client is willing to pay.

However, affordability has generally decreased across a wide range of goods and services, and many people seem to be feeling the crunch of their income not growing at the same pace as the cost of living.  I assume that is the primary problem here.

Things like meeting with providers has probably become less and less affordable for a lot of people, but that doesn't mean a provider needs to reduce their requested donation for their time.  If their donation amount is too high, they won't get enough business to justify the amount, and they may need to lower the amount being requested.  Simple economics.

But there are still many clients in high income brackets who can afford to meet with anyone and at any cost, and these individuals will continue to support the higher donation amounts that providers request.

It ultimately doesn't matter whether or not someone can survive on a middle income in Brazil or elsewhere.  What matters is that affordability pressures in the US and Canada have reduced the ability for many people to access time with providers.  It isn't the providers' fault - it's that the present economy has concentrated relative wealth in a smaller and smaller group of clients.

MANY of us on this board have or do travel to Brazil precisely to meet men like yourself. Life is MUCH cheaper in Brazil, and we all do what we need to do to survive. If your present city is too expensive for you, you can always leave and move somewhere else. I went a few decades ago from renting in The Castro in San Francisco to being a homeowner in a small city in Florida. For me a certain level of stability was more important than living in a gayborhood in SF and life in California. Believe it or not, somehow "Garotos" in Brazil survive on the equivalent of $35 per foreigner (less for locals) at the saunas! Yes, you would have to compete among your own, but that's life! The market is saturated here and there will always be an endless flow of young men getting in and out of the business for a variety of reasons.

And I am feel very happy bc i am discussing this for all the escorts.

you are not speaking for all escorts and you are not doing putting yourself in the best light here.

You have mentioned that 'even nice young and good looking' clients are paying your rates, which suggests that people who do not fit into that category will not get the same price or service from you - which is a sure sign of a bad provider, and I would assume that many clients do NOT fit in that category who read this will be disinclined to hire you. so great job there!

Just state your price and if it doesn't fit the clients budget, wish them well in their search.  Arguing here like this is not making you, or us, look good.

This quite an interesting topic which I have discussed with colleagues before. From our perspective, it seems to be a trend where the expectation is also for lower prices from the clientele on places such as Florida and Texas to the degree in which if you travel there, you might have to drop your rates just because majority of the market is oversaturated there and are used to the already existing lower rates.

When it comes to asking for an Uber/Lyft, I view it as a form of deposit and security for the appointment. We get a lot of text of people that just fake wanting an appointment and then ghost you.

I sometimes can be comprehensive and ask for what they are willing to spend. Whether, you low ball it too far, thats already on you. It is time, energy and preparation that I will spend out of my day to meet you. I do charge on the higher end but, haven’t had any complaints yet after the meeting.

I do agree on this. Don’t speak for the rest of us

a very desirable (to me) provider, PAID ME for my time.  It was amazing.  Such a connection.  And it seemed to last for hours and hours.  But then I woke up.

Either that or, you looked like muni long in drag and the provider was gay for pay: But in reality he’s hetero/pan flexible or whatever it’s called in 2026: 🤭

Compared to small Midwest towns with a population of 20,000, yes, Chicago is more expensive 😂

Coming from Florida and Texas: Chicago IS expensive. Maybe not the deeper suburbs in Illinois, but those are also expansive. And you still pay a lot in tolls. I once had a $35 toll bill, and I didn’t even fucking go to Chicago. I drove around the outer burbs but it still cost a lot and I didn’t even know how much I was being billed because they have it all Bill by plate now. Also gas there is more expensive, taxes etc.

Look, I know MUCH has already been said, but as someone who has hired since the '90s, I think escort rates have just VERY gradually risen to match inflation and cost of living. A short session with a hot stud from the Gaiety in NYC used to cost at least $200 back in those days, and that's 30 years ago! It's a buyers market, and the top tier guys charge to reflect that. I'm happy to pay more for someone outstanding, and just hire less than I'd probably like due to the cost.

This is the point I was trying to make. Maybe he’ll listen to a colleague.

Ultimately, this was asking if clients noticed that prices has decreased or leveled off. No one should be telling a provider what to charge or a client what’s the right amount to be willing to pay.

We should be able to discuss trends without it becoming personal or directed at specific people.

And @Elite_XL is a great provider.
