Perhaps. But I just checked and every source of economic data on Brazil describes it as a PREDOMINANTLY Middle Class country. You are confusing your anecdotal experiences with ACTUAL DATA.

Like I said...I don't doubt youve seen poverty in your country. Because there's a lot of it. But its also a very wealthy country and you seem to have missed that part. I would place bets on the fact that I've been to more places in Brazil than you have...both rich, poor and (mostly) middle class. So I DO know a bit about your country. 

The bottom line is that for a lot of Brazilians there is economic opportunity in monetizing those good looks.

For NYC, I've paid $250-$400, with most at $300.

$300 seems to be a base-line in NYC today. You can certainly find providers who will quote that, but they won't be anything exceptional. The better looking guys want $400 and the Instagram/OnlyFans models quote between $600 to $800 /hr pretty commonly.

In NYC, prices don't seem to be dropping but have risen.  I've made several inquiries to providers I'm interested in, and many are asking in the $400-$600 range.  Although the cost of living has risen dramatically post pandemic; my personal experience is also that many providers don't seem to engage in a rappor when contacting.  I realize there are legal challenges with all that, but....  1 word responses with I'm $XXXX/hr doesn't instill in me that they are going to have good chemistry with me.

Sometimes I feel like the opposite everyone else? Finding out someone has OF or does porn makes them less desirable for me. If certainly not pay more because of that. 

Maybe because I like the BF experience,  I'd prefer the illusion that I'm a little special.  😉

I also have a tough time paying a lot for someone I've never met and don't know how comfortable I'd feel. Someone whose pictures are all graphic or talks only about the size of their equipment isn't erotic to me. I'd much rather have a humble guy with lower rates and tip him well.

Yes the economy is contracting and we are borderline recession and it will likely get worse. If they don't lower their rates, they will end up sitting in their hotel rooms twiddling their thumbs.

Pricing from escorts should include their transportation. Giving on price all inclusive is much better than piece meal, then the client may feel he is being nicke and dimmed.

Couldn't agree more. If additional services are given,  sure, but no other service provider does. A plumber let's you know the cost of the service call, and then adds travel expenses later. (And one might argue these providers are plumbers

I prefer the guy order my uber! Is kind of a deposit for me and I know I am not going to meet a fake guy. I feel more safe sorry.
All the real generous guys don’t mind to order the uber.

I don't think it's generous guys that pay the Uber. It's rich guys or guys that can afford to lose it.

For me, trust goes both ways. I'm supposed to trust that he's not going to take my money and flake, but he's not going to trust me to be a real person? I'll talk on the phone or video chat to give him comfort, but I'm not paying for anything in advance, sorry.

I don’t ask never money in advance. Only the uber. But a lot clients they don’t send pics, they text us with google numbers… And a lot scams text us every day. We need to protect ourself. I understand the client side but the escort side is that. 
u don’t need send the money before. Just order his uber. Simple is more safe for both.

i believe is more safe bc we never know if we are going to meet a crazy guy. I prefer that he order my uber bc if something happens with me after the police can track who ordered my uber.

Reading this thread makes me wonder what is the expectation of some guys 🙄. Escorts can charge whatever they like. Whatever they feel they’re worth. Everyone has their own rate they will require to do the job and I have no problem with them doing that. No one is being forced to pay it.

I say to those who don’t like the rates: ‘don’t shop there then, he’s clearly out of your price range’.  You’ll find guys at your price point and you can see what they’re like. If a guy wants to charge $500 or more that’s entirely his call. He will probably have set it to manage the amount of business he wants to do. Entirely up to him.

Of course you can have an opinion about what you’re prepared to pay but don’t complain about the quality of services you get at that price. Alternatively if you think you can do a better job at the rate you’re prepared to pay go ahead and set yourself up. Then you might be able to comment with some justification.

I never said, YOU said your word is law. You only named 1 person, out of a city with HUNDREDS if not thousands of escorts. Even if many do charge $1,000: #1 doesn’t mean everybody going to pay and #2 there’s still ample conversation I’ve found otherwise of that. Point in case:

 

This isn’t me speaking but someone else. However I’ve done the Los Angeles circuit and I know for a fact, most of the bookings I’ve got in that area cap at $300 the hour. And it’s hard to even get that at all because there’s 50 million escorts in Los Angeles as it is. The exception may exist but I’m talking across the board…
