I have no problem if a provider asks for a pic; my pics are on RM so they are already “out there” and that was the right decision for me. I often meet providers in hotel lobbies (especially the first time) and my pic helps them find me. Everyone - provider and client alike - gets to set their own rules, policies and protocols.

I was recently asked for a picture by a RentMen in Portland.  I was already on the fence about hiring him, but due to limited supply in Portland I was seeking new providers.  When I asked his rate, he said I needed to provide a picture first.  That was a deal breaker right there.  The discussion didn't proceed further.

I usually provide my face picture to the escort or masseur without him asking, but after we've established a time and place and rate.

Yes, and I just wouldn't feel right taking money from him after he saw my picture and realized how good looking I am, when it was I who was looking to hire him. 😜

No, it's not common but it does happen. I NEVER do. It's not a dating app or a hook up. You're buying a service from him, and if he isn't "up for the job", then he shouldn't be in the business. (no pun intended) I do always describe myself in detail, age, looks, body shape, cock size, likes and dislikes.

I have no problem with a provider that looks at porn or closes his eye and fantasizes about whatever to be able to perform and get himself off.

How the hell are we supposed to get it up, keep it up, and perform when the client is fugly?

I've had inquiries from clients that are straight up decrepit and look like they died last week.

At some point they need to hang up the towel and accept the realities of life...and I just refer them to my newest and youngest competitors. 😎🤭🤭🤭

Exactly.

Its perfectly REASONABLE that a provider should be forewarned that he is being tasked with fucking a hideous cadaver.

The entitlement of some people here is astounding when they say that to be a good escort, you must fuck anythjng that moves and it's NONE of their business to know that I'm 100 pounds overweight and only bathe on Thursdays.

Obviously we ALL dislike rejection and HIRING is supposed to be the escape from that. However, there ARE limits to what anyone can accept as do-able. A provider has every right to know who/what he's meeting at the door. Doesn't mean he's treating you like a Grindr hook up and ghosting you because you're not a ripped Brazilian model.

The business is not for everyone!

The handbook doesn't say we have to service everyone.

Nobody said you have to service everyone. But the handbook also doesn’t say clients deserve to be mocked for how they look, either. Professionalism is knowing when to decline gracefully, not broadcasting contempt. One’s boundaries can exist without someone else’s dignity disappearing.

^Well said!

Providers are not obligated to service everyone that requests to hire their time. Providers can choose to screen for whatever criteria they want, and they have a right to request photos.

In my personal opinion, it is unprofessional to request photos of the client as a condition for seeing him, even for “security” reasons. I call bs. A professional, in my opinion, will see a wide variety of people, and be able to perform for them all, assuming the clients are respectful and take care of their personal hygiene.

Quick note on hygiene. We are not obligated to suck on fungus infested toes, foreskin that hasn’t been washed in weeks, tolerate exceedingly rank body odor, or touch rashes, open sores, or the like. These are all examples of good reasons to raise objections. Age, fitness, body type, race, and disability I believe are bad reasons to reject clients.

Providers who can only perform for a very narrow range of people, I believe, are in the wrong business. Our services are valuable no matter who we see, but also precisely because we are capable of providing a high level of service to a wide variety of people. You pay a pro to do a job that few others would be willing or able to fulfill. This quality in a provider has immense value.

This 💯…My clients are all sorts of ages, including guys in their 70’s. They get same service as anyone. I don’t ask for pics, I like the surprise when I open the door. But sometimes with really overweight guys it’s difficult to fuck them properly because of the logistics of getting in position etc. As @Simon Suracisays the biggest barriers to doing everything with a client is his personal hygiene or any conditions he has… some of you may have read my post on the client with a horrendous haemorrhoid problem who wanted to be rimmed and fucked….😱. I still have nightmares.

The handbook also doesn’t say that we’re required to submit pictures.

It’s totally cool with me if the provider asked for a picture. Nonetheless, I politely decline. If I feel it’s just them being nervous and/or new to the business, I offer to meet them in a neutral space first. I make it clear that if it’s not a match then there are no feelings hurt. But I also make it clear that in that situation, I reserve the right to refuse as well.

I’ve only been asked for a picture a handful of times and every single time the provider has agreed to meet without me providing a photograph. And the majority even decline the above offer to meet on neutral turf with some version of, "It’s cool, we don’t need to meet first."

It’s your right to conduct your business anyway you see fit. I totally understand the request, but if you require a picture, you are losing good clients. It’s a business decision. I wish you luck.

Are they ? I am guessing that the majority of refusals are from the most difficult clients. So seems to me like the request does a lot of filtering even without viewing photos of hideous people.
