iocurus Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Is there anyway to provide services more discretely than creating a profile certain websites? I'm curious to start, however I want my identity to be somewhat concealed. Might be stupid question! Thanks boys!

It is really hard to do that - most guys have a “type” and they want to make sure you are that “type” before agreeing to meet. How will you get the attention of guys when you dont have a profile that pops? I once met a provider on Adam4Adam with a very discreet profile. He only shared face pics once we established that we were a good match. He had another career he wanted to protect. He was a regular buddy for a long time until he retired (but I still get a holiday card from him every year in his other professional persona). He could not make a living as a provider following that approach, but he had a lot of fun and earned a good bit of spending money that way. My question for you is this: do you want to be a professional provider or is this just a side gig? Pick your lane and then deal with the next steps. BonVivant, DGHou, Johnrom and 4 others 6 1
NYmuscllover Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Would be quite hard. Maybe try reserve search your photos first? Its quite easy these days iocurus 1
aiseeya Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Put yourself in the shoes of a client. You should have answer of what to do. iocurus 1
+ Jamie21 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 On the one hand you’ll want clients which means making your services widely marketed but on the other hand you want confidentiality which requires the opposite of widely marketed! You can be a provider with no clients I guess…but you won’t make much money 🙂. You don’t need to be overtly public with your face in your advertising but body pics will be essential. And it’s inevitable that many clients will ask for a face pic at some point. There isn’t much of a market for a surprise provider. People don’t buy this product sight unseen. iocurus, Johnrom, BonVivant and 2 others 3 1 1
maninsoma Posted January 10 Posted January 10 One of the reasons why I think the golden age of hiring (at least in the U.S.) was 25 years ago. Craigslist facilitated exactly the kind meetings you describe. As a client, when I was actively looking for someone I'd just refresh their men looking for men page (and I think they had another, more explicitly professional category) until I found someone I liked. Send an email through Craigslist servers and, if the guy was still available, I'd hear back quickly. A lot of guys who were doing this more as side-work would only keep their post up until they got a client, and then repost their ad the next time they were available. I hired off Craigslist more than Rentboy for a variety of reasons, but the main one was that I liked the immediacy of it. I don't know why, but a lot of times when providers with ads on mainstream sites have their "available now" indicator on they don't actually seem to even be monitoring their texts or inboxes because they take hours to reply to inquiries (if they reply at all). I don't know of a site where you can advertise like this today. I guess you could try Adam4Adam and just have your most of your photos private, only unlocking them only when you get a serious inquiry. jackcali, MscleLovr, + Vegas_Millennial and 6 others 2 4 3
+ JamesB Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I’d recommend creating a no face pic profile, using a separate phone number for this, and sticking to outcalls only. However, you’d still need to rely on mainstream websites for visibility. While you could invest in a well designed, SEO website, your exposure to potential clients would still be very limited. iocurus Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 This would be a side, temporary thing. A4A seems like a good place to start. I don't mind sending my pictures, I do it for hooking up lol, however this would be different. Thanks for answers. BonVivant 1

Kevin Slater Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Another thought is to befriend some guys who are already in the biz. Sometimes a clients asks his escort to bring in a second (or a third or fourth...) and in that instance you may get included with no advertising at all. The general contractor may be glad to bring in subcontractors who aren't publicly available, a win win. I do it frequently. Granted it wouldn't be all the time, but maybe a way to get your feet wet. That means, people have been providing without Internet for quite a long time. Just search info about the old fashion way of doing things, and the type of clients that cater to that level of discretion. I'm sure that there's clientele out there that prefer that level of secrecy too. I think that's quite a niche for some. + Vegas_Millennial and iocurus 2
HockeyMan Posted January 10 Posted January 10 As someone who's provided as a side hustle, I just find lonely men and offer my services. I never advertise. I live in a city where it's easy to stay under the radar. Finding clients would be harder in other places. iocurus and + Vegas_Millennial 2

I meet some at gyms that are popular with gay men. I'm young and attractive so finding older, horny men is easy. And it was even easier when I was in my 20s😆. They don't hide how thirsty they are. So when they start coming onto me, I mention that I'm selling my time. + Summerson, BonVivant, Act25 and 7 others 6 4

I used that when it was available far more than the professional sites. Far fewer flakes in my opinion as well. Remember AOL and the men4men? You normally had someone looking for work and if not you could post u were looking to hire. So much easier. BonVivant, + ApexNomad, jackcali and 3 others 6
