I don’t expect anything other than what is stated (in their ad) or discussed with the masseur.

In my experience what happens further typically depends on the individual masseur.

I was surprised by how far some went after stating what they would or would not do. Others were strictly by the book or willing to up-charge for other things.

Then what happens tend to depend on what the masseur feels like at the time. 

I've certainly had masseurs go further with me than they have with others and vice versa. 

The surprise of it is often the best part.

Agreed that the surprise is the best part and I have had some real surprises.

It depends on the person or company. In Asia most massage houses will be quite open in what’s included. After meeting the masseur, they are normally receptive to any “extras” and can agree on a price there and then. Be mindful though, many massage places in Asia charge already quite a low price maybe 80-100USD of which normally there is a 60/40 split of the money between masseur and the parlor. A tip even something $20 will undoubtedly make their day, as many of them do this to support their families. I know from experience of doing it in Asia. In terms of private 1-1 masseurs, it’s best to be direct with what you want and what you are willing to pay for it. The masseur will tell whether this is acceptable for them.

I like the anticipation.  If I’ve asked for a sensual treatment, the masseur is almost certainly going to touch parts of my body that are not usually addressed during a therapeutic massage.  Whether it’s a casual caress of those parts or something more focused varies by masseur.  When I go in with a plan to enjoy whatever is offered, the anticipation of what will happen next is itself enjoyable.

I agree that it's best to not have any expectations going in beyond what the provider advertised.  That being said, when "erotic" was a category on Rentmasseur I did expect at the minimum a manual release.  The few times I hired guys who advertised erotic massages but only provided unskilled therapeutic massages I certainly felt like I had been "had" given the rate I paid.

I expect that a sensual massage will include MN, MT & HE.   In my initial contact I simply request pricing & details for a sensual massage.  Most tell me those elements are included in their sensual massage.  A few are more subtle - one used the term "volcanic".  I went with my gut on that one and he's now one of my favorites.  If the massage goes beyond MN, MT & HE I consider that a bonus and tip accordingly.

Sensual to me is MT, both nude, HE, additional body contact… erotic adds possibilities of oral and kissing and full body contact, short of penetration… of course, you should make sure both parties have same expectations…
