Hyattsville
I tried to search to find this topic and could not find one, so sorry if this is a repeat topic. On Rentmasseur there are types of massage offered: Therapeutic, Sensual, Erotic. I get Therapeutic, but I don't guess I understand the difference between sensual and erotic. Any guesses? Is there a blatant definition that I am missing somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Release +/-. Erotic often includes mutual touch and release and often more. Would be careful with expectations as these definitions are not universally accepted. + azdr0710
It's been debated since Christ was a child. Keep in mind that the ads are as masseurs, not full-on "escorts". pubic_assistance, BigAppleJay, sider and 4 others 2 1
+ Mrprofessional
If I had to guess I’d say: sensual means you’ll be touched and massaged everywhere… sometimes that also means getting a hand job or at least be invited to finish up yourself … erotic SHOULD mean that the masseur will get naked. From there, it totally depends. Usually there’s mutual touch. Depends on provider how much more you do from there. beware that some guys will say they offer “erotic” but then upcharge you during the session to remove their shorts/brief so it’s important to confirm the price for both being nude ahead of time. There must be 100 of them. I agree with what @Michael PhDstated above. Sensual = titillating and the possibility of you leaving happy. Erotic = titillating and the expectation of you leaving happy. Not advertising as an escort means you shouldn't be expecting them to be providing escort services. I've found it most productive (if you're looking to get a truly erotic experience from a masseur) If you book an erotic session. Let them do their thing. Tip them generously and then engage in a man2man conversation afterwards about the possibility of adding other features to your next session. Doesn't hurt to ask. And a good tipper will always be given the opportunity to get to the very limits of what a provider is comfortable with, sexually. Erotic may mean that someone might get aroused. Honestly... Don't put too much weight into the type of massage offered. I've had penetrative sex during a massage with "Therapeutic only" providers. On the other hand, I've had "Erotic" massages without any touching of the genitals and the masseur remained clothed. I still kept going back to that "Erotic" masseur because he gave a damn good therapeutic massage and his rate was reasonable. When I asked him outright for an "Erotic" massage during a repeat visit, he replied that it was Erotic because I was naked and he worked my glutes and thighs. So, yeah, I don't really pay attention to those categories. If I'm looking for guaranteed sex, I just hire an escort. That’s a basic professional courtesy. This is not to say that many (most?) providers of private massage aren’t open to more intimacy than they advertise. Reading their Rentmasseur reviews or posts about them here, checking out the text and photos in their ads can give you additional information about the latitude of their services, but there’s no need to go to someone who is only offering therapeutic massage, if you want something more. There are lots of options out there. For what it’s worth—and from considerable personal experience—here’s how I see these categories: Therapeutic: massage intended for health, both physical and mental. These guys are often professionally trained and just prefer the independence of not working in a “legit” spa. The only consistent difference I have seen from the health spa experience is that there is, mercifully, no prudish draping. Sensual: massage focused on pleasure, without introducing more conventional aspects of sexual expression. These guys tend to be self-taught and have recognized a market for men who will pay for the luxury of being touched by another, usually handsome man. Erotic: massage incorporating the interactive and more explicitly sexual possibilities of massage. I would be disappointed if I hired someone for an erotic massage and he stayed fully clothed throughout, sent signals that he did not want me to touch him, and that HE was not available. I’ve had rare instances where this happened, but I just didn’t hire them again. pubic_assistance and + Mrprofessional
Gingeroz
from far as what I know, sensual would include touching, kissing... but still main focus on massage. erotic would include at least oral / happy ending with open possibilty for anal pubic_assistance
