How to shave my balls?

Do you now, or have you ever, shaved your balls? Now that hot weather has arrived in the southwest, i would like to clean up my sac area (for the first time) but don't have any info. Any warnings, equipment suggestions, etc? Electric or blade? Close shave or trim? Danger of ingrown hair? ?????? Any response will be appreciated by me, and I'm sure by others. I personally love licking/sucking balls, and having mine tongue bathed, but hair stuck in teeth is off-putting for some providers.

Use blade, not electric.

I used to shave my own, now I have a man who waxes them for me.  I much prefer someone else waxing them to avoid the occasional nick of the blade, and to avoid the stubble when they grow in again.

I did once and will never do it again. I just love hairy balls.

However, if you must, use a fresh razor blade. Don't use a trimmer or electric razor. They are baaaaaad news!

I do it in the tub and use Nivea shaving cream and a woman’s razor. Always perfect. No nicks or ingrown hairs. Then apply Kiehl’s cream afterwards. Usually lasts a week at least.

I did it a few times years ago using a razor (they make one for this now) and lots of soap while in the shower.  It took several passes with the razor to achieve the desired effect. 

However, it made my balls sweatier in the summer and less comfortable.  I think the hair must've acted as a form of insulation.

I use a newly unpackaged dry razor, no water, cream, or soap. Stretch out the testicles skin in stages. Easier to see the progress without rinsing over and over. Fast, never a nick, ingrown hair, or itching. No ‘Kelly Clarkson’ exclamations to ripping sounds. This method of course does not work on my face, as my beard is extremely tough and wiry, but I often employ it on my chest as well.

My balls are not very hairy to begin with, but when I want them extra smooth, I carefully shave them in the shower using a normal razor and shaving gel or soap. I have never had any problem.

Balls are easy to shave. Yes just use a regular razor. I like to sit on the edge of the tub while I do it. Takes a little while to get all of the hair always seems to be a straggler that survives somehow.

Dry with powder, or wet with cream or gel

You know how a lot of the time your regular grasp of a razor’s handle incorporates some pressure from the middle finger about halfway up to the blade?  Don’t do that.

It takes a bit of focus, because habits. 

Hold the razor only at the very end of the handle. No extra pressure to the blade.
Barely-there touch, with only the razor’s weight. I use a Mach III rather than disposable - a metal handle just enough weight and will provide necessary pressure. 

I can go in any direction to get close, any number of passes, without cutting or scraping, with a super smooth finish. This technique also works great on the neck if prone to bumps there.

I shave (well wax really) my shaft and balls all the time. It makes oral much more pleasant. I trim my pubes down but from trees to shrubs. Not grass.

Not at all. There’s still plenty of pubes and thigh hair that I look like a man. Oddly enough it gives my shaft an hourglass look.  It so much nicer during massage when there’s no friction during the ending.

No one's talking about removing all the hair. It's called trimming. I would have said "grooming" but I know where you would have gone with that.

I agree with @pubic_assistance. I do cut down my pubic hair so that anyone going down on me doesn't get Sherwood Forrest shoved up his nose and throat. but shaving it down to a pre-pubescent state is creepy.
