Fingernails polished

Maybe it's an age thing, I'm 62, or just an aesthetic thing, but I cannot see a beautiful, masculine man with fingernail polish.  I know it's trending and I cannot wait for this fad to pass like all the others, i.e. man bun.  Question:  If your hottest escort fantasy walked in the door wearing colored nail polish, would that turn you off?  I would thank him and send him on his way.

Absolutely no,  if he is a beautiful man the nails would be a minor thing.  Just so happens I like painted nails on a man, expresses his confidence.  If I had chosen an escort and he showed up the biggest things to send him home would be cleaness, drunk, or drugs.

Total agree.
However my line is drawn at lipstick 💄

- - - -

Nail polish is no different than cutting your hair, tanning, dieting or working out.

Sorry to disagree.

The other day I rented a car and the guy waiting on me was exceptionally handsome and masculine.  But - - -  he had nail polish on his finger nails.

I know some people find nothing wrong with that.  However, when a guy works with the public and has nail polish on his fingers, it tells me he wants to be different and also tells me has not much to do with his time.

After I was finished with the rental paperwork, I waited outside for the car to be brought to the pick up area.  A couple not known to me was also waiting for a car to be brought up for them.  The wife of the couple said to her husband, "Honey, did you see that man's finger nail polish?  How silly he looks."

I could not help but laugh at her comment.

So, I guess fingernail polish is not accepted by all.

For guys breaking norms (and laws and in many cases marriage oaths) by hiring escorts many of you are — dare I say — awfully narrow minded and judgmental.

@coriolis888that same woman speaking to her husband would have a few choice words to say to her husband about your activities, I imagine, if she only knew. Try and be a little more open minded, I invite you.

I think you read my post too fast because you seem to have missed the point.

It was the woman who was waiting with her husband where I was also waiting for a rental car who commented about the guy's fingernails.

I said nothing to either of them.  Therefore, you might want to "try to be a little more open minded, I invite you." (to quote you).

Please remember this is a forum/site for exchanging ideas.  It is not a site to try to start an argument as your post so clearly shows.

There are many things I read that I do not like but I do not respond with insults to the author.

This is STRICTLY your opinion. To some of us – dare I say, most of us – It IS VERY different. Nail polish is historically and normally used by women so it is a BIG TURN OFF to most of us.

You don't mind it? Cool. But, you cannot make an overarching statement like you did because for some, it is just not true. It is a matter of attraction and opinion.

Yeah, and if a guy has long flowing hair in his profile pics and shows up with a shaved head, it might turn a John off. Ditto if he was worked out in the photos but flabby in person. Etc. We hire escorts largely based on their looks. Is this news or something? If they person hiring doesn’t like nail polish, they don’t need to hire the guy.

I think is a generational thing. Until the 1960s the uber majority of men had short hair, and since then we got used to see more men with long hair. I was a teenager in the 70s and sometimes I had longish hair, but it would still look quite odd to me a man with hair to his shoulders. Nonetheless, nail polish of every kind was only for women.

I think it is quite recent that men started to polish their nails. I even tried once myself to get it (no color) during a manicure, but I washed it out immediately when at home, I felt uncomfortable, like I was using eyeliner.

I totally feel that everyone is entitled to choose if doing it or not, but the couple of times that I hired or hooked up with a masculine man (what I like) with colored nail polish (hands or feet) I felt like it was a turn off. 🤷‍♂️

When I do a show, I get a mani/pedicure and a coat of clear polish.  I love it.  It makes me sad when it wears off.

@Milo Janus Didn't you post pretty much the exact same topic several months ago?

I get guys wearing fingernail polish is not your thing, but if it means that much to you you should ask if the provider has unpolished nails before engaging them.

If I were a provider that agreed to an appointment and rate, showed up on time, fresh, and ready to perform, and the client picked on some arbitrary factor and cancelled the session without any prior discussion I would want my entire fee on the spot.  Full stop.

This is a stunning amount of projection that you're foisting on people you don't know. It's a lot of rationalization for your own dislike of something.

Where did I say a client had to hire an escort with nail polish?

I didn't. I'm saying we do not need threads where people tell us what they don't like about guys they're not going to hire. All these threads do is yuck other people's yum. I actually agree that a provider showing up looking substantially different than their photos can be a deal breaker. I doubt I'd include nail polish because I either like it or am neutral about it.

+1 , I’ve never understood the need to “diss” a provider based on what someone doesn’t like 🤷🏻‍♂️
