Escort offering you a drink at the start of a session

When I turn up at an escort's place for an incall session, I've found that the escort will usually offer me a drink (usually a glass of water or a fruit juice) just before we get down to business. Of course it's just being hospitable I guess, but it's something that I always say NO to.

I'm far too paranoid. I always think what if he's put something in it? There's only one regular escort who I like and trust enough who I allow to fetch me a drink on arrival at his place just before we start the session.

I was wondering if anyone else here is also too paranoid to accept a drink from a provider, especially if it's one they are meeting for the first time?

I don't think it is paranoid at all. Rather, it is completely prudent, even  more for one's first meeting. I refuse an offer from a provider, escort or masseur, unless either it is in a sealed bottle that I open or I get my own water out of the tap. Same when I am hosting in a hotel room. I will offer a sealed bottle of water. I will drink water from a glass offered by some of the (mostly therapeutic) masseurs that I have seen regularly over the years.

Basic gay 101 rules apply:

1) Don’t drink anything that isn’t obviously sealed and opened in front of you.

2) Even then, only accept sealed drinks from people you trust.

I’ll never forget reading a review where a provider offered a client a shot of Tequila.
The client accepted and ended up being drugged. I had been offered a shot from
the very same Tequila bottle the week before. Basic gay 101 rules….for the win!

There are no exceptions to the rules, kids.

Interesting thread.  I "always" entertain escorts in my home rather than going to theirs.  I don't remember ever being offered something to drink in the distant past when I did visit an escort at his place.  However, I think the idea of sealed bottled water is a great one.  One could always bring ones own.  One escort I hired a number of years ago was hesitant about eating at my place on his first visit so I took him out to dinner.  From his second visit on he readily ate my home cooked food and seemed to love it -- especially taking home the leftovers.

When I go to a guy's place he will usually offer me an unopened bottle of water/sparkling water/soda/beer. I usually take the water. Likewise, when I entertain I offer an unopened beverage. I wouldn't accept a shot of anything nor would I accept a beverage from an open container unless I already knew the guy.

I will always accept a drink from an escort, whether new or regular, direct from his hose. No problem there.

For my offering a drink, it's always a sealed bottle, water, beer, or wine, the latter if we're having something to eat as well. I only serve wine from fresh bottles, not open ones left in the fridge, which I'll drink myself.

I always keep in mind the possibility of being drugged.

An escort I saw recently told me of an incident in Montreal where the client drugged a gangbang crew he had hired. He lived in a multi million dollar mansion in Westmount, the richest enclave in the city.

What others have said here ('specially bring your own water), but also, if you're at his place, you could follow him to the kitchen (or mini-bar, if at hotel) and watch your drink being poured.  Good opportunity to feel him up and get to know each other anyway.

I always offer a bottle of water and more options, unless we're at it right after he steps in the door and I don't get a chance to!  😀🔥

That STUPID, IDIOT client was me. And the MF escort is still there, both in Rentmen and in Rentmasseur.

Awful experience. Bitter way to learn the lesson!

What he did to you after that? I don't know why they did that at their place. It is also dangerous for themselves.

Nothing in particular. The sexual experience was quite mediocre and I guess that he did that to make me get over it. I actually left after 45 minutes.

But I started to feel the effects when I left his place, until the morning after. VERY unpleasant.

I wouldn't mind a bottle of water but not a drink unless I've met him before.

I'll usually accept a drink from the escort, especially if we're drinking together or it's a repeat visit.

Once an escort asked me to pick up some flavored vodka on the way to his hotel, and we drank some of it together.

Come to think of it, I've never said no to a drink.

I don't know why I thought you were more of a beer drinker!

I've heard of clients taking a bottle of red wine for an overnight but requesting a specific kind of flavored vodka sounds a little too much.
