For a tie breaker, yes it does.  When I visit a city for a limited time and don't have enough days to visit with every one of my preferred escorts, the guy who charges $50 less than the others for a similar encounter gets my repeat business that trip. Now if one guy is more stellar in bed than the other and happens to charge $50 more, I'll pony up the extra $50 for a better experience.  But prices above $300 usually doesn't equal better sex, in my experience.

You have a lot of nutcases who are on that app all day to waste time and report profiles. 

With that being said, when I'm travelling and in another city I usually put "Gen" or something of that nature when I'm actually looking. I make sure not to keep it up for long and delete/change my headline after a hour or two. I've definitely had success on Grindr, Hinge and Tinder.

The fees everywhere are outrageous. They've increased so much past the yearly cost of living it's ridiculous.
 

I do miss the opportunity to have a lot more sex with a lot hotter guys than has been my usual over the last 14 years since I lost my career. But consider this. They are not but when you use the search function you are given (only at the beginning of your search) a range to search. It states From ___ To___ It doesn't directly tie to the provide ) I entered 200 under the the From and 250after the two and it listed 97 providers. It only shows up when you first hit on search and then you have to sign out and wait a while before signing in again.

100% and you're literally investing time. It's something I'll do on the side when at home or if I'm travelling for an extended period. RM is definitely easier but the options maybe stale or not worth it at times so it's an alternate option I like to explore, especially with the caliber of guys you'll come across on those apps.
