Do providers ever offer free sessions or is it marketing?

I recently saw a provider for a massage that evolved into more than that. I don't know if he was just being nice but he said he'd give me a free session next time. Would you as a provider ever suggest that or is it just to get someone to rebook? I would rebook regardless and pay him anyway but maybe it was just flattery

Yes it can happen. It could be marketing. It could be the guy is genuinely attracted to the client.

Has it happened to me… yes and no. One of the regulars I see no longer charges me for fun time and hasn’t for years. I’ve known him for about 15 years. I sometimes give him gas/toll money when he travels to me. However I don’t think either of us considers what we are as a client/provider relationship anymore. So I don’t count this as a free session.

There are 2 regulars (one I’ve known over 10 and the other about 4 years) who have given me free sessions. The guy I’ve known for over 10 years, he and I sometimes go on strictly platonic trips on occasion. Sometimes if he’s feeling frisky on these trips, we’ll get down to business without funds exchanged. He always says I’m always good to him and treat him well… so I get unpaid fun time.

The 4 year guy… I went to Vegas for about a week. We were supposed to do an overnight but he had to work the day we had planned. So instead of the overnight, after work each day he’d come over and stay with me the rest of the day/night until he had to go to work the next day. This went on 3 and half days out of the 5 I was there. We had fun time, multiple times each day/night he was with me at no extra costs (after I agree to still give him his overnight rate).. I guess he felt guilty or was grateful… maybe both. 😜 Yes, he got his overnight funds, but I got 2 and 1/2 overnights for the cost of one.

The question includes ever which makes it impossible to answer. If I were you, I'd take the offer as a compliment, rather than a commitment.

Rebook him for whatever hours you are prepared and willing to pay. If he commits to his offer then great, if not you would have the funds to pay him anyhow. Its a good way to judge his character. Win win for you.

You should ask yourself - are there physical reasons he'd want to meet me for free?

If there's a twenty year age gap I'd be very wary.

I don't know about that. When my husband and I were on the apps, we were most often approached by young men, 20 to 30 years younger than us. These are not escorts; just young men who prefer older men, as I did in my 20s.

While I've aged, my taste hasn't changed. I'm not interested in 20-somethings, but they are certainly plenty out there looking for older guys

I have never had free. I had an offer for free once but turned it in down. I do think I have received the "regular client" discount from certain providers, where they may ask $250 vs. $300 for others. I'm not high maintenance, so it's pretty easy $$$ for them.
