There's very little shit-talking going on. 90% of what providers complain about is having their time wasted/stolen.

...and the vast majority of them think anytime you contact a provider and not end up hiring them you're a time waster.

The reason I ask is tied to paying cash. I will only pay cash, and I know others are the same. Im also not paying a deposit as I'm afraid of getting scammed.

So if providers could see that a client is legit, pays cash it would help us both.

i do wanna add to this if i  may. we don’t use anything to “ talk bad “ about  clients. it’s a way for us to avoid clients that play games with providers.  Unfortunately there’s a lot of clients out there that constantly contact people to play games, or are dangerous people.

perhaps because the VAST majority of people that contact has have no intention of hiring, and then the small percentage that actually do have intention have not read our adds properly and ask questions like 'can you host?' when the first line of our add said "I can not host" or some such nonsense.

a way to show provider you are legit is to -  send a small deposit. (amazon gift card is a easy way to send without leaving a trail), arranging for uber for our visit if you are getting an outcall, or having a premium rentmen account.  Hope this helps. We need more good guys.

Well, like I said, I'm not leaving a deposit. There are as many flaky providers as clients. That's why it would be nice if word of mouth worked both ways.

I'm also happy to have a call with the provider to ensure their comfort level, but I'm not paying for anything in advance.

I honestly don’t know why providers don’t check out their clients rent men profiles.  If they see the client has hired other escorts, possibly even some who they know, then they could reach out to get a word of mouth review of the client..

While it’s true that plenty of clients skim ads and waste providers’ time with questions like “Can you host?” even when the answer is clearly stated, the frustration definitely goes both ways. Providers can be just as guilty, many ignore messages completely, don’t bother to read client profiles with key info like preferences or boundaries or reply with vague copy-paste responses that barely address what was asked. This kind of mutual negligence isn’t unique to this industry, it happens everywhere.

Here’s a typical scenario I’ve run into way too often. When I reach out to a provider for the first time, usually when they’re listed as “available” on the site, my message includes four simple questions: rates, whether they’re comfortable with my expectations for the session, their availability on a given date and, if they host, a general idea of their location.

What happens next? I might get partial answers to one or two questions usually a day or two later. So I follow up with the remaining questions. If another couple of days go by without a clear response, I move on. From their perspective, I’m now a “time waster” because I texted twice and didn’t book. From mine, they’re the time waster because I spent days just trying to get basic information. So… who’s really in the wrong here?

Well thats often a good result. Often you get an autoreply linking to taking the whole conversation offline or to their peronal website, not having read the message at all.

Guys complaining about generic responses or the provision of links to websites etc perhaps need to consider how difficult it is to reply in detail to questions like ‘what’s included?’ and ‘when are you free’ or even questions like ‘full service?’ (What are you? A car in need of an oil change?) when they get asked so frequently.

I have all the info on my website, so I just say ‘please look at my website for details and ask if you have any questions’. Yet I still get questions about things that are clearly discoverable on the website! But there is a good reason to not engage in too much discussion. The reliable clients who will turn up do their homework and just send a message like ‘hi Jamie I’d like to book 90m at 3pm on x date’. They book in advance, they have a definite date and time and they know all the details. I’m 99% confident they’ll turn up. Those who say ‘hey where are you?’ or ‘how much does it cost?’ or something similarly diffident then I think ‘he’s not vested in booking, it’s not likely to happen’. Sure enough, these guys don’t tend to book, they just like the chat.

I certainly believe that happens, especially when messaging famous porn-star providers that don't really have time for new clients.

Here's what a time-waster looks like from the provider side:

  • "Are you into this specific niche thing?"
  • "How exactly would you react if I did niche thing?"
  • "Can I have a picture of some obscure part of your body?"
  • "I have a really long story about an elaborate situation I'm planning with a provider! make that 3 providers!! Would you be interested? Let's discuss every detail of how you'd act in my fantasy. (I promise I'm not just using you for sexting right now! This is a legit inquiry!)"
  • Then ... after a week of silence at 2 am ... "Hey can you come to BFE New Jersey right now?"

you asked a question, I gave you the answer.

and offering to provide a call? so geneouros of you! (note the sarcasm) i

ts not helpful of you to 'offer' to take up more of the providers time unpaid so you can jerk off on the phone and not follow through with the appointment anyway.

Oh yes! I feel like replying with ‘not really into sex or anything, I like having a chat and cup of tea, maybe play dominoes? You?’
I mean I appreciate the sentiment, he wants me to have a good time …but honestly you’re hiring me… it’s not about me having a good time. If you’re having a good time then so am I. If he has an unusual kink or something then yeah maybe I do need to know that but if it’s that niche and it doesn’t say on my adverts that I’m into it then maybe the best advice is to hire a guy who has that kind of thing in his repertoire rather than get someone who’s offering something else to do it. It’s like shopping in a hardware store for groceries. It probably won’t work.

Talk about great assumptions! (notice the sarcasm)

None that I know of. Do you report to Mr. Number “the VAST majority of people that contact” you?.

Nope. Only losers who are deliberately wasting sex workers time by ghosting day of appointments, doing long sex chats back and forth and not hiring, people who think its cool to haggle, people who cancel last minute, clients who are unhygienic or have other things around safety that other sex workers need to know.

Congrats on the clean slate, you must be one of the good ones.
