Yes. This is well put. I do wish he’d posted the provider’s profile because even accounting for some questionable decisions on his part this “provider” sounds like a scam artist.

Without knowing who suggested the bath house in the first place, it is hard to call the provider a scam artist.  In addition, even if it was the provider, the OP could have said no.  The OP states that he felt uncomfortable with the first room and asked to change it.  So the provider was willing, at least initially, to provide some service.  This happened before the OP sent the fee and at this point he had several options.  However, it seems the OP's anxiety spiraled and the provider did not do anything to make the situation better.   The entire "I am a cop and my cousin is downstairs and he is also a cop" definitely sounds like a gaslighting.  The escort apparently took advantage of the OP's anxiety.  

So I would say that the OP has to take responsibility for placing himself in a situation that he knew had the potential to make him uncomfortable and once he was uncomfortable he did very little to end the situation.  The escort on the other hand, may not have intended initially to gaslight the OP, but once he did, he was sadistic in exploiting him.  

I think either the OP or  the provider should have had a Moonstruck moment.   (with or without the slap)

Bozo suspects the same thing. And it's really unfair to pass judgment when only one side of the story is presented.
The OP neglects to name the provider. He also fails to name the site from where the escort was hired. Is that because he fears that if he names the escort, there may be former/current clients out there who would give glowing reviews of the provider and throw shade on the OP's story?
Bozo doesn't want to come down too hard on the OP because he was clearly traumatized by the event, and he also seems to have a fragile psyche. However, while acknowledging that a certain percentage of providers are "toxic", there is probably an equal or greater percentage of customers and potential customers that providers would describe as "toxic" clients. It works both ways. Let's not forget that.

I will never go to a bathhouse again. The bathhouse itself was uncomfortable and didn't help. He had suggested it and got the first room. When I got there and asked if we can move to a room with a bed,  I thought that would help calm me down. It didn't help I didn't have my vape pen (lol).

I would have only reversed the payment if he took the payment and left me without the service. Because we had our time together whether good or bad, he would have kept the payment. I had forgotten to send it as a business transaction anyway so I lost the payment regardless.

If I do hire again, it will be guys with reviews. Also,  I don't actually trust anyone in the area that I live in right now. So I may travel a bit to meet some providers that I have hired in the past and we're great or good encounters. 

I'm sure he has his side of the story because there are three sides to every story. His side, my side, and the reality of what happened. I had previously tried booking him and it didn't work out so when he initiated again,  I was like,  okay let's try this again. At the start none of my discomfort was with him. My discomfort with him started when he left the room to smoke a cigarette. Then when he came back he started the police talk and it escalated from there.

Facts.  There are hustlers and there are professionals and they’re two entirely different things. Professionals want to build their client base and provide their clients with experiences that will inspire reviews, referrals and repeat customers. Hustlers are just trying to get whatever they can in the moment because they are only there to get some money and bounce as quickly as possible while providing as little in return as possible.

some are desperate and do it as a desperate effort to make some quick money. Others like their lives from one game to another and are generally not going to do anything they don’t have to do.! They will gladly rob you and try to extort or scam you if they can.
