I don't negotiate rates and I don't plan on hiring anyone at a $400 rate any time soon, especially someone I've never experienced before. I've only been tempted once because he has good social media, but so far, I haven't pulled the trigger.

The risk of a bad or even just a mediocre experience if too high to spend $400. I feel that $300 is the highest I'm willing to go. I'm not looking for a one time experience. When providers price themselves too high, they are not risking the loss of just $400. They are risking the loss of multiple $300 paydays. If I see a guy even just once every two months, that could be $1800 in revenue in a year. At $400, I would be hesitant to see them more than once or twice a year and they'd have to be damn good for me to go back at that rate.  

More power to them if they can get $400 enough times to support themselves, but it ain't gonna be from me.

A note on haggling.  I like to haggle in other areas of my life but not when it comes to hiring escorts.  Sure, a guy may be in a financial pinch and reluctantly agree to a lower price.  In my mind, you are starting the session on a sour note already.   I expect the level of service and the overall enthusiasm to be much less than if you paid the ask.  But I don't really know - I have never haggled over escort rates.  I prefer to say thank you and walk away.

 

The New Jersey Meadowlands hosts the first of eight World Cup games in the NYC metro area on June 13th. 
Bozo has already noticed that hotel prices and escort rates for June have increased in Toronto - another host city. Mid range TO hotels which last June went for $250-300 Can per night have doubled. It is inconceivable that the same won't happen in the NYC region. Expect to see higher hotel rates and more NYC escorts with increased prices in Gotham soon.

Bozo respects your opinion on negotiating prices; however, for Bozo it's simply part of the process. Sometimes the haggling aspect of the experience is more fun than the sexual part. Certainly in long term satisfaction.
There may be a few providers out there who refuse to play the negotiating game; fortunately, there are more than enough that do engage. And Bozo has not noticed any decrease in the energy level or quality of services rendered by the providers he has hired. Keep in mind that one can have a lousy experience with a provider who doesn't budge on his rate just as easily as one can from a provider who reduces his price. 
Circling back to the OPs post, if Bozo can get the same NYC experience for $350 as he can for $400 - it's a win/win... for BOTH parties.

Thanks, I had accessed the full article. The page had the usual ad features and the Temu one was amusing. Most of the other ad popups were associated with gambling, similar in ironic potential.

These prices escalations amount to forced errors, as if a penalty kick against you occurred while you were off knocking boots elsewhere instead of defending the net.

OMG, I didn't realize until now that this was a list of a week's worth of adventure.  This is more jampacked than a full-time work schedule.  I get exhausted just by reading it.  Do you indulge in this kind of weeklong sexcapade frequently?    🥳

I have never haggled in price, I pay what is advertised or requested during our set up communications.

 

Result is - I get what I ask for, the appointment is never rushed,  quite often they go way overtime, and that time may be just be lying in bed cuddling and talking, after the action.

If you show respect to a provider he will show respect back to you.

 

Most of my hires are repeats, and I always say this is the reason why they are repeats and the enjoyment and comfort level just increases.

I have had exceptionally good providers, haggle with me, I had one who turned a 3 hour session into an overnight, and his rational made total sense.  Even after I paid a substantial amount for overnight, and rented a pool vila in Bali for the night, the night remains as one of my best hiring memories, standing naked on the terrace watching a full moon, smoking cigars and drinking single malt, under that full moon , and some amazing sex - at the end of the day, and this would be 10 years ago. I do not remember the $200 for the villa, the cigars and single malt, nor the $1400 for the night, but I remember his body, how it felt, what he made my body feel like, and the bf experience before during and after the fun, the few hours we slept and the fun in the morning.

If you can find the $$ for a exceptional experience - do it - you are a long time too old or too poor to indulge or even after you stop breathing

To be fair, it was a 9-night trip, not a week.  The 9-nights included 8 hired sessions, 6 lap dances at Spunk and BuffDaddys, and 3 free hookups.  There was to be a 9th hired session and a few more hookups, but I had to cancel...I was just too tired some nights.  I also squeezed in 5 Broadway shows and 1 Off-Broadway show, and sightseeing from the Bronx to the Battery.

Every week is not like this.  I usually only hire daily or every other day when I travel.  At home in Las Vegas I rely on a group of regular friends with benefits, and only hire once every few weeks (prices are cheaper than NYC prices, especially for massage).

We are in a recession. Even strippers and pole dancers are leaving the business because the income is dropping.  You can tell the providers who have not caught on yet. They won't 'haggle' but then that green light stays on for hours.
