Between June 2024 and March 2025, I've seen four escorts in NYC. One charged $300, two $350, and one $400 for the first hour. The $400 guy was the most recent. The $300 guy I've seen several times and usually for at least 90 minutes, so it's worked out better for him than for the guys who charge more. All have come to my hotel. There was a traveling guy passing through my mid-sized city last week. I contacted him and he quoted $400 as hir hourly rate. I politely declined. He then offered $300. I told him I didn’t like haggling and he came back with $250. So I had to block him in the end.

I respect your take. For me, it’s the opposite. If the other person doesn’t finish, it feels like a performance, or just reinforces that this is a paid encounter. I know this topic has come up before, so I’m not trying to rehash old debates in a new thread. At its most basic, primal level, when I hire, it’s when I’m single and part of what I want is to see and feel another man climax. I miss it. Same thing here.  Contacted someone passing through Denver over Labor Day weekend.  Said his hourly for massage was $400 and $600 for 90 minutes.  Mind you, this was just sensual massage.  I, too, politely declined.  Several local guys I see somewhat regularly are in the range of $180-250.  Don't believe the $400 per hour will get much traction in the Denver area...just for massage.

I get it. And I can totally see it being more meaningful when you're single. There was definitely a time outside of hiring where if the other guy didn't cum I felt like I'd failed or wasn't "hot" enough.

Back to the subject of NYC rates, I am almost always quoted 400 for an hour.  I haven't heard 300 or 350 in over a year. 

I don't like to haggle with an escort because afterwards (whether or not the price has been reduced) the memory of haggling makes the session seem more mercenary to me than if I just hit the first bid.  Also, if I'm honest, the 50 or 100 means a lot more to me than to him and I've never had a session after which I thought "That would have been a good session if only I'd paid 100 less." 

I am hearing 500 more and more often, but I think in most cases that's just too much.

I contacted a provider in Phoenix (!) who quoted me $375/hr. No way. I stopped responding (which is a response) to his texts and deleted them. I noticed he no longer advertises but his OF is still updating. While I'm all for these guys making a living, I'm also aware that as a client I have control of the process and can step away if I don't like the rates or attitude of the provider.

I try to hire 2-3 times weekly. My 2 weekly ones charge $350 and  $600 (and he’s worth it), respectively. New face hires charge about $400 or $500.  

My favorite is the $600 just because he’s intuitive, knows how to push my buttons and is free with his body. The $350 is very hot but less passionate, but i feel bad turning him away and the rate is quite reasonable.
