I would like for everyone to chime in and share with us why they pay for sex. What is the reason or reason(s) as to why you do it?

There’s grindr, sniffies, and a million other apps where you could potentially get some action without paying yet you choose to pay. What’s the motivation behind it? No shame or need to feel bad about your reasoning.

You just joined here and are asking this loaded question. Why don’t you tell us what motivates you to hire, if you do? And how long have you been engaging in this hobby? And why? I think we deserve to know where you are coming from before responding.

So you’re saying that because I just joined this website that I shouldn’t be able to initiate conversation/topics that I’m interested in or curious about?

if this is the average response from people on here tell me now so that I just watch from afar and dont say anything.

This is a pretty standard response on the site.. the same 10 questions about hiring have been asked a million times. So people tend to want you to share before asking questions.

Without you spilling a few beans … needn’t be an essay or a hazing … it comes across as an appreciative but academic inquiry in which Google may produce a better yield, and far less voluminous archives than exist here, with scholarly articles about trade &c. Otherwise, welcome.

Short answer: Because I can, like the sky is blue.

You are already receiving push-back because of how you approached your query.  You want "everyone to chime in" with their reasons for being a client, but you haven't done so yourself.  If you're new to this (or even just in the contemplative stage), why not first share what your motivations are and ask others to share theirs?

I'm sure the most common answers you'll get:

To get men the client doesn't believe they will get otherwise.  For example, a youngish jock isn't too likely to be looking for a middle aged or older bear.

For efficiency.

Because they get excited by the act of paying someone for sex.

Because they can afford to do so and don't feel like they need an excuse.

Adding to the list, to get exactly what you want. With the apps, it's a roll of the dice of who is available, unlike hiring where I can get what I desire when I want it.

I believe that there’s many reasons as to why I do it so here we go since everyone and their moms is bullying me just because I didn’t share this in the first place so here we go:

1. Convenience. If I’m horny and want to be with a guy, the only thing that needs to happen is payment and I’m guaranteed action.

2. Idk if its a kink or fetish. But I kind of get really horny by paying men for sex . Like the thought of a guy saying to me u want this dick pay me and I’m just so badly wanting it that I end up paying is just hot to me idk

3. Some of these men wouldn’t be attainable if it wasnt by means of payment

So yes I can get sex for free but just because you get on grindr for 3 hours trying to find someone for sex does NOT GUARANTEE that it will happen. You’ll scroll a lot and talk with alot of guys and nothing ends up happening. Why? Many are pic collectors. Many are perhaps not looking for the same thing that I am. Many cant host or travel, but they want you to leave your house and drive to pick them up , bring them back to ur place and then once were done drive them back to their place is just alotta hassle.

and not only that but its always the same ppl on the grindr app so wanting someone new is also a reason id say

Can you please explain to me how are you able to edit your original comment? I’m having trouble doing that. I attempted to do that just a few seconds ago and it seems like it became a 2nd comment instead of staying the original

I feel Google's response would be rather....dull. But ChatGPT or one of its AI siblings could provide some entertaining responses.

Maybe the Andrews Sisters have a ditty about prostitution.

As a science research academic I would lean towards Google for search engine results incorporating peer-reviewed journal papers or texts. AI to me means everything old is new again because it wasn’t broken in the first place; tried and true approaches just involve skilful drilling down.

These results would cover the gamut of qualitative method investigations regarding consumer hirer factors and the occupational motives and hazards for providers clustered into themes using standardized analytical models. They would include anecdotal reports illustrative of such themes, much the same as the albeit limited input of message boards.

That’s not dull; it’s just organized and thoughtfully summarized. For example, one would get much more meaningful detail reading Mitchell’s Tourist Attractions than randomly asking a few punters why they gravitate to brothel sex in Brazil.

Three dots dropdown menu … edit in the original text field that’s visually configured slightly differently …  save using the blue background “Save” at the bottom. Reason for edit field above Save is optional.

1. Convenience- hiring allows me to select a guy who can host in a convenient location at a convenient time.  No endless back and forth or messaging dozens of guys with no responses.

2. Safety- a guy with reviews on here and RM is more vetted than a stranger on an app.

3. Sexual health- providers are more likely to get tested often (and be on prep etc) as their careers depend on it.  I also have less apprehension requiring condoms since I’m the one paying and thus calling the shots.

4. Activities- I can engage in whatever (consensual) activities I like without fear of judgement or worrying about pleasing my partner (though of course I still want him to have a good time).  And their sexual prowess and experience allows them to better work with my relative inexperience.

5. Attractiveness- I can select a guy with any “look” I’m in the mood for and who would not be likely to give me time of day on an app.
