He's been legally retired for 15 years, so he has had 'no income' so to speak, except from investments - which, by California law, is not 'communal property' to be split up (so Geffen keeps all of it). Most likey, under CA law, he will get spousal support for one year (it's half the time of the marriage). $8.7 billion! He could have just stolen the antiques in the house and the jewelry, if he hasn't already. pubic_assistance, + glutes and Luv2play 1 1 1

Ali Gator Posted May 26 Author Posted May 26 He was always such a handsome guy. Even in his 80s he's still attractive. His now ex-hubby looks very much like the sexy actor Rome Flynn.

Thankfully, yes. Do I have enough self-esteem to be self-sufficient emotionally if I choose to be? Also, thankfully, yes. Do I have some nagging doubts about the $$ issue? Of course I do! I don't consider myself to be blind, naïve, or foolish. Did I have various doubts about my marriage that lasted for more than three decades until death parted us? You bet! And I've learned that one can either hold out for perfection (whatever that might be) or one can barricade oneself by rejecting every potential relationship with any inequities, or one can, with due diligence and careful thought, allow oneself to enjoy the delights of romantic and physical love -- rather than allowing something like age-difference and society's reaction to that get in the way. With full acknowledgement of the risk it entails, I have chosen the latter. Time will tell whether the decision to engage in this way will play out the way I hope it will. Well said, and thank you for sharing this. Those words I quoted I found to be your most powerful words. I personally live and let live. That said, both sides of the coin do exist. Opportunistic young men trying to get older men's money are real, and are out there. Manipulators, hagglers and people who love taking advantage of the elderly do exist, and they are real. So I don't attack either side, those who are legitimately in love with each other in spite of age (or socioeconomic status), and those who are in it for what they can get. We are all living in the same planet. shadowcatzxxx 1

Geffen had 2 houses in LA. One was a house right on the beach in Malibu where he took his porn boys. I was there a few times for dinner and movie nights with friends. The water comes right up to the back yard. Very cool. Then there was the Beverly Hills location for the important guests. I didn't go there but I'd heard about the Art. Now I wish I had. But overall is this thread really claiming Geffen treated Armstrong poorly? I don't see that. Now it sounds like Michaels has a beef, that he was mistreated. At least he has his own lawyer and filed a lawsuit claiming so. I'm curious how the lawyers will work it out. Image from linked article, Hollywood Reporter pubic_assistance and Ali Gator 1 1

Image from linked article, Hollywood Reporter "According to the 33-page complaint, the couple met in 2016 on the website SeekingArrangements.com, “where men like Geffen shop for the vulnerable.” Their relationship was initially transactional as Geffen paid Michaels $10,000 for sex on their first night together, per the lawsuit. The arrangement led to Michaels becoming Geffen’s trophy boy, “a private sexual object and a public prop – a symbol of Geffen’s self-proclaimed altruism to impress his powerful network" That poor innocent boy. Maybe 26, age when I started, was too old for him back then, I don't know. I know people who have been to both houses and I always wanted to see the Malibu home. Oh well. Lucky you. Escort Gavin Geoffrey Dillard gives a very amusing account of visiting both homes for the first time in his memoir: In The Flesh I know what you mean about the water coming right up to the house. I was at a sex party late '90s in that same area of Malibu, and that time of year the water came right up to the hot tub. Also, I spent a very nice Christmas Eve at what at the time was Geffen's Hotel in Malibu, The Malibu Beach Inn, and the water came right up to the hotel Christmas Morning. So, very cliche, I set my coffee cup on the patio and went for a very cold swim first thing. I Felt like Christopher Isherwood. Edited Monday at 02:43 PM by Rod Hagen
