  1. Taylor Swift has made long acrylic nails hot.
  2. I envy those who can fast. If I eat too little during the day, I don't sleep.
  3. WW bought a telehealth company last year and are now offering GLP1s. She would be the perfect spokeswoman. I wonder what she has up her sleeve. WeightWatchers launches a new membership for Ozempic customers | CNN Business WWW.CNN.COM WeightWatchers on Thursday launched a new telehealth clinic that will allow customers to receive GLP-1 weight loss prescriptions drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy...
  4. How are you feeling? I'm really sorry you're in pain and that the chiro visit didn't help. I had a multi-level extrusion (burst disc) and protrusion on my neck, and I had horrible pain that radiated down my arm. See if you can get a referral to a pain medicine doctor, preferably one trained in anesthesia. They can give you an epidural steroid injection which will help for a few weeks. PT will help too though it's hard at first. It will get better though .
  5. Happy birthday to my favorite driller!
  6. Hard to resist eating during the holidays and during the sales afterwards! Six pounds is just a blip. Remember that your health and mobility are worth a lot. The savings from medications and medical care alone amount to thousands of dollars a year.
  7. Well said. As with SSRIs, I think the market will be bursting with better versions in a few years. Interesting point on bariatric surgeon and negative articles. It will be interesting to see where that field goes now that non-invasive alternatives are available. As for the negative articles, I wonder how many are coming from insurance industry shills as well.
  8. Regeneron is combining semaglutide with monoclonal antibodies that preserve muscle mass. Stage 2 trials will start soon. This is a major step in the right direction. Btw, @samhexum @auguHow are things going with you? Sam, I hope you’re able to get more meds soon.
  9. @josh282282 I just crossed the 10% threshold. Do I get my Ozempic rx now? 😘 Because I eat out 1-2 times a day, I’m losing about a pound a week. That’s fine with me. The weight loss may slow down further. 13 pounds to go..
  10. The BRF press office wrote: “ It was during this intervention that a separate issue of concern was noted and subsequently diagnosed as a form of cancer.” Sounds like it involves one of the local organs.
  11. I see. This Yelp review makes it sound like a strip club, at least on the female side: "Staff are all extremely friendly. Truly professional experience. Place is clean and the girls are very attractive and well manicured. If you want to see a living bombshell go in and ask for Lilly. Not only does she have a great bubbly personality. She has to be one of the top 5 hottest girls I've ever seen in my life. 1 song just wasn't enough. I didn't want to go home. Oh yea did I mention she's gorgeous. Fantasy is down the block it's same owner and many of the same girls get rotated. But between the 2 locations if you don't find Lilly and get a dance from that sexy soft baby skin perfect ass and smile woman it is your loss. I had dreams about her. Yes she is that hot"
  12. I get it now. It's a strip club with a champagne room. I thought it was a sex club, hence my astonishment.
  13. That was my first thought too, but a hysterectomy is usually an outpatient procedure. That's especially true for the BRF, who can set up hospital level care at home. The speculation I've read is that she has a longstanding GI issue that became acute.
  14. Yes, definitely keep a lookout for anything new or different, whether it's a mole or not. Red or pink, pearlescent spots with raised edges can also be skin cancer, although a less aggressive form than melanoma. Consider seeing a derm for an annual full body skin check. I had mine today.
  15. For free or $$$? If the former, I'm surprised that there isn't a line out the door.
  16. Interesting figure from a paper on temperature and sleep.
  17. The idea came from a poster here. His handle escapes me but he’s a doctor with a clown avatar. He said that the best he ever slept was outside on a porch in winter. So I try to simulate that, covered by a fleece blanket and two comforters.
  18. Like most fluffy coated creatures, I sleep better in the cold (55 degrees ideally). As a result, my heat is never turned on. I use a space heater instead. It was 50 degrees indoors last night.
  19. I dated a frat guy from another school. The older guys hazed really hard; they woke up the pledges to go buy cigarettes, etc. In my innocence, I asked my boyfriend why he didn't just tell the older guys to screw themselves. He replied that hazing is part of every job, so we should all get used to it. I liked the close bonds between the guys, so I decided to join a sorority. Like all the Greek orgs at my school, it was new and non-residential. Also, there was a firm no hazing policy. I wish I had devoted more time to it. It's wild that there are SAE guys here. They were so...straight
  20. Many of the men who hung out at public restrooms and porn shops fifty years ago were married. In 1970, the average man married at age 22-23, so that makes sense. A book on glory holes/men's rooms, Tearoom Trade, came out at that time. The author took down license plate numbers at a local men's room, had a cop friend run the plates, and showed up at the unsuspecting cruisers' homes posing as a public health official taking a routine survey. As you say, some of the married men he talked to were traditional masc guys who claimed their wives didn't like sex. Others said they were perfectly satisfied with their sex lives. Most of the single men were either looking for underaged guys or were semi-openly gay.
  21. This is such wholesome porn. Executive comes home, kisses his wife (who has already freshened up in anticipation of his arrival), and they have enthusiastic sex. Very 1962.
