  1. Yep. See my post up thread from yesterday.
  2. Brightline Florida isn’t even that fast. It’s pretty slow between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. It does pick up speed though on the final segment between WPB and Orlando…125mph I think. By European/Asian standards, that’s not really high-speed.
  3. Well...it seems my concerns regarding Brightline's viability were correct. They are in financial distress. There was no way this was a sustainable business with the fares they were charging and the ridership they were getting. I wonder how many federal/state dollars went into this project? Brightline's future is in doubt after a report outlines the company's multi-billion dollars in debt - CBS Miami
  4. I agree. He likely has a year to go. The victim seemed relatively satisfied with the verdict. I don’t think she would have been if he was going to be released in a matter of weeks.

    And no tattoos. How refreshing.
  6. Philippe has been sentenced to 42 months in prison. Article in French attached: https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2026/04/24/il-faut-denoncer-et-faire-confiance--son-ex-conjoint-violent-ecope-de-42-mois
  7. I agree it's a hilarious thread. My contribution is from a former friend that lives in San Diego. He was an aficionado of gay cruising in forested outdoor areas around San Diego. He was mindful to avoid all the poison ivy plants in the woods (of which there were many)...but...in one encounter he had with a cute Latino guy, the cutie had been touching a bunch of the bushes/plants with his hands before he played with my friend's dick. Low and behold, my friend got poison ivy on his penis. Of course he went to the doctor who asked on inspecting him: "How on earth did you get poison ivy on your penis?" One interesting fact that my friend learned from the doctor is that that the darker your skin color, the less likely you are to catch poison ivy. The doctor explained that the latino playmate may not have caught the poison ivy himself but could have transferred it successfully to my friend's pale white penis. Another funny (or weird??) story from the same friend. He previously had lived in Miami for a number of years and had a gay PCP in the area. He said that one time the PCP was giving him a genital exam and he started stroking my friends cock and ended up giving my friend a BJ in the examining room. He said he felt very uncomfortable and ended up never returning to that physician. Today that would be considered sexual assault but back in the 90's my friend just thought it was weird.
  8. Circumcision is mutilation plain and simple. Things on the body exist for a reason and should not be messed with unless there is a medical need or until the person is an adult and makes a choice for themselves. I regret having been circumcised. Unfortunately, that's just how things were done when I was born in Michigan. Would I consider foreskin reconstruction? Probably not because the process doesn't seem to have been perfected yet. Oh...and by the way, I do not agree with circumcision for religious reasons. It's still wrong as far as I'm concerned.
  9. For me, this guy is a big zero. I don't get the attraction. Give me a big buff macho guy every time. Not this fem guy. Does anyone actually find him attractive?
  10. Some of the Johnson's dancers go to Boardwalk afterhours looking for Transgurls. Just saying...
  11. Glad to hear about Matt’s return. Good news! One caveat however. The advert above indicates “Bigger, louder, hotter nights”. Maybe it’s just me…but do we really need “louder” nights? One of the big pluses at Johnson’s has always been the music not being out of control loud. I like spending time with the dancers and appreciate having the music at a level that allows for conversation. New look, new guys, and a new DJ are all great but I don’t need louder music. Pre-COVID when Twist still had dancers, the music used to be painfully loud. It was always problematic.
  12. People behave irrationally all the time...whether in business or personal aspects of their lives. People see what they want to see (or what they're told to see) until reality slaps them in the face and they have to absorb what's clearly in front of them. I deal with facts and reality. Sadly, many (most?) people don't operate that way. They need someone to interpret the available information and then tell them how to think. Sad but true.
  13. The market is starting to be realistic about the impact that the Middle East situation can have on the global economy. Hence the falling stock markets around the world. I feel there is the potential for much steeper falls going forward. It’s not guaranteed but the possiby exists for the DOW to plummet much further. I fear a Pandora’s box may have been opened.
  14. Thanks to both of you for your input. Very useful. Unfortunately mom’s health has declined since my original post. We are in hospice now so she won’t be needing a tablet. Priorities have changed. Thanks again.
