5. When being polite and offering to allow a provider to shower/clean up after a session (you know lube can get everywhere after all) I am told that I have to pay for his “personal time in the shower” because that is part of the experience.....ummmm...NO.

The more I hear about what you guys deal with, with your providers. I am shocked…. Charge for shower time???? That’s insane

Definitely being late is my top peeve but also I don’t appreciate providers who can’t perform, try to charge more than originally agreed, or finish quickly and don’t offer to go again.

For me it's providers who aren't up front about their pricing and try to upcharge you for things you've agreed to prior to scheduling the meeting. When i'm looking to hire someone new, I typically research 2 or 3 people and go with the one who is the best fit for what I want that night and for the price we agreed to. It ruins the experience when you suddenly change the agreement. I absolutely hate providers that do this. Happened to me a few times, but the worst one so far is this masseur who was visiting the area. I was up front about everything I wanted and he agreed to it and to the price. When i got to his hotel, he suddenly couldn't speak english very well except to say that this and that is extra and it would shorten our time from 1 hour to 30 minutes and there would be no massage just sex

Vagueness about the services provided is no longer acceptable for me. Paying for an hour from a top and getting 15 minutes until they bust is also unacceptable. So I am explicit about expectations upfront.

The proper answer to this is:

"If you're not here in exactly 5 minutes, the session is cancelled. I won't buzz you in if you come even a minute later."

They usually get angry and give up the act then, which lets me move on and hire someone else.

I have done something similar to this with a provider...cancelled him when he was like 30 minutes late and still '10 minutes away'.  He fired back with "I am not sure why this is a problem, for you to find someone else it is going to take you at least another hour or more before they can show up.  I will be there by then."  I think that was when I blocked him.

On a related note:  I hate it when guys book times they clearly can’t keep often related to travel. I usually have a very specific time I need to book between other things in my day and don’t have a lot of flexibility to wait around. I’ve been burned a couple times by guys who book too soon after their flight arrives.   Then they text “can we start 30 min later?  I’m just checking in”.   Actually I can’t because I have other plans— that’s why I asked for this exact time.  One guy got pretty abusive afterwards and I think gave me a “flake” review on MrNumber.

I did the same thing under exactly the same circumstances and he was pissed when he got to the hotel and I was gone. He even made a scene with the hotel staff. I was very clear about needing him to be on time and I specifically asked him if he needed more time when we made our arrangements but he still came like 40 minutes late and he missed out. I was pissed too cause I could have had someone else come through if I’d known.

Ok, for historians or inexperienced clients reading this, be reassured that this does not happen "a lot" (still can't believe that's not one word) and escorts likely won't embarrass you in public, or private.  It's happened, it sucks.  It does not happen a lot.  Or often, barely infrequently.

The only thing that happens "a lot" is a good, not great, not bad, meeting that you may or may not (but come one, who are we kidding?, you may) repeat.

The 9-out-of-10 providers who assure you they deliver what you’re looking for as far a BFE but don’t. And coupled with that is the lack of or unwillingness to follow up with questions about BFE expectations. I’ve grown to sense the MO – not easy to describe, but it’s a vibe that sends up at minimum a pink flag.

Also the obsession with wasting time pre-booking. Related to that is the rush to book before establishing compatibility. See above about lack of or unwillingness to follow up about expectations. These often go hand-in-hand.

The notion that an extended time together is somehow not meant to be spent “together” the whole time. That is to say, that for a part of each day the escort would intentionally not be with me while still clocking that as “time.” I’m not talking about physically being with each other every second of three days. I mean escorts who want multiple thousands of dollars for three days but feel they can get 4-6 hours of away time during each of those days.

That’s become less of an issue for me because if communication is poor prior to meeting, I simply won’t meet. It signals incompatibility for me because it’s part of what makes it compatible for me. Even if that sounds circuitous, it works for me!
