Luv2play Posted February 22 Posted February 22 (edited) Was it just this thread of his adventures with Mexican lad to Antarctica that was scrubbed or have all his other many threads about various adventures been scrubbed also? Edited February 22 by Luv2play

That was what Unicorn told us about himself. Coolwave seemed to be far too into playing the field, particularly in groups, to fit that mold.

+ azdr0710 Posted February 23 Posted February 23 (edited) it's likely Coolwave35 requested that all his posts be deleted and membership in CoM be cancelled......obviously, several possible good or not-so-good reasons to do this exist.......he can make his own goals and decisions in all this, of course.......here's one popular thread at which we can see how his "posts" survive only when quoted by somebody else......note that "Coolwave35" is named this way, but not in his original posts ("Guest") https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/157100-i-fucked-up-help-me-fix-it/ Edited February 23 by azdr0710 pubic_assistance 1
+ sniper Posted February 23 Posted February 23 A lot of posters don't realize how many identifying details they've let slip over the years, and given the nature of this board, that could have repercussions for their personal or professional life. I would assume that's what's going on here. But if anyone knows him outside the forum, maybe just check in with him to make sure he's ok. musclestuduws, + Pensant, liubit and 2 others 1 4

Luv2play Posted February 23 Posted February 23 The thread about his trip to Antarctica ended on the note they were next thinking of visiting Egypt. But then I recall another thread where Coolwave35 was going to visit his Mexican travelling companion in his hometown to meet his friends. Is this where he disappears? There could be a sinister aspect to this development. Only time will tell.

MscleLovr Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I want to respect his privacy but I was in recent contact with Coolwave aka Guest. There’s nothing sinister and physically he is fine. For those who are cynical by nature, as I am, his recent relationship ending badly was unsurprising. It has taken an emotional toll on him and he has decided to take a break from hiring. I’m sure that many of us wish him a speedy recovery. I hope he will be back as I enjoy his posts and observations about the business. Dolman, + Just Sayin, liubit and 11 others 3 4 6 1
Luv2play Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I wasn’t aware his recent relationship had ended badly. Sorry to hear that. But glad he is personally safe. + Pensant and musclestuduws 2
caliguy Posted February 23 Posted February 23 He definitely lived the fantasy. Going to meet the family of your new travel companion was wild. I think I remember reading about the kids concern over explaining an older white gringo to his family and friends. It's good as long as you keep at least one foot in reality.
Simon Suraci Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Awww, we will miss you @Coolwave35! I hope he does well emotionally and mentally during this break from the forums and presumably from hiring. He’s a romantic. I have no idea what happened but I can see how easily he might have been burned. He might have also found love and rode dramatically off into the sunset, but in these arrangements whether through Seeking or more traditional routes, the fantasy can come crashing down rather quickly when you get down to the cold reality of being in an exclusive relationship with an early 20 something escort with daddy issues. I know Seeking is not technically for escorts, but the young men in these scenarios perform exactly that function, and in this case, for much the same rate of compensation in the form of “rent money for a year”. I suppose that is easier for both parties to swallow than “here’s your fee”, and parting ways. True, he did share a lot of personal details over the years and that could backfire in any number of ways. He mentioned a crazy member tracked him down and sent threatening letters to his address. I was thinking a while back how easy it might be to identify him based on a few overshared details. I would never do that, nor have any reason to, but someone off his rocker with a vendetta/obsession or axe to grind might. I really hope he is not having to fight off some crazy stalker or something. I don’t think so, and he has more than enough means to make something like that go away. Coolwave35 was questioning a lot of things in life. Before everything went south, so to speak, his Antarctica companion was really making him think about why shouldn’t he retire and live his life well? At what point is enough enough? It’s an interesting question. So many of us would only dream to be in his financial position, and I’m sure most of us would never work again, unless we simply enjoyed our work more as a hobby than an obligation, or took a sense of pride or identity in it. Maybe after doing some soul searching he decided to make a life/career change and that could be at least some part of why he is disappearing from online now. Speculation, all speculation. We will miss you, Coolwave35. Cheers to a great run. I wish you health and fulfillment whatever you do in life. Dolman, + Just Sayin, + jrhoutex and 4 others 3 1 3
+ JEC Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Collwave35 offered to solely support the M4M site (financially) after Daddy passed. From this, and his well-published, frequent parties where he hosted large numbers of escorts, we can assume he is very well off. Not sure why that matters except (1) he has the means to do whatever he wants and (2) it's good that we found another solution to sustain this site into the future. I did enjoy his stories of the parties he held, I was always a little envious TBH. In his more recent posts he disclosed that he had problems with physical intimacy, and that he really hired all of those escorts for companionship. I do hope he is well, and enjoying life. Perhaps he will be back!? + Pensant, MikeBiDude, + azdr0710 and 1 other 3 1
RadioRob Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Yes, he and I talked about this. Yes, this was his choice and not related to anything that happened here. I wish him the best with whatever he decides to pursue in life and would welcome him back should he ever decide to return. 22 hours ago, BOZO T CLOWN said: When someone deletes his account, all of his posts get deleted? There’s no option for the user to do that themself. The preferred way to request account deletion is from within your account settings. https://www.companyofmen.org/settings/account-security/ This workflow makes you enter your account password and validates it is actually you who submitted the request. Once a request is submitted, it is reviewed by an admin (me) first. Basically I just click the approve button to complete the process. Typically if it's someone who has a lot of contributions here, I'll reach out to confirm that person understands that when I accept it, there is no undo button and it is final as the only way for me to recover the account would be to restore the complete site from a backup prior to the deletion. pubic_assistance, dcguy20, musclestuduws and 7 others 10

+ sniper Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I sorta feel like perhaps we've strayed into talking about him a little inappropriately. Maybe the thread should be closed and edited by the mods with something like "people were concerned about Coolwave's absence, but he is fine, just left the forum for now." Oooh...we could setup a new subforum called "The Milk Carton" where the thread title is a poster's handle and a status could be left... nate_sf, pubic_assistance, CuriousByNature and 1 other 2 1 1
